I need to write a letter of intention for a new position which I am applying for. I have never been asked to write one before and all of the online templates won't even allow you to look at it without paying a hefty fee. I am looking to see what details to include.

I live in LA County and need a place to stay. I have $8 in my savings account. I go back to work in September as a Substitute Teacher and Aide. I get paid once a month. After the bills and food, I have no $ left for rent. Some of my single friends have houses but don't want roommates. I don't have the $500-$600 a month to spare for rent anyway. I have applied for summer and night jobs. No call backs yet. Where can I go live until I get on my feet? What about a women's shelter? What agencies can help? Please let me know.

I thought that under the Republicans laws we have deregulated them to spur competition and lower prices to the consumer. All the big money was suppose to "trickle down" to the less fortunate. What happend, just another Republican lie?

Do we need regulation back? This mess is going to cost the taxpayers billions, and yet another derpression?

Mr Buisness Owner. I know that if a person comes in looking for a job,and the grey hair is seen, That Individual has a poor chance of getting hired. I have come up aginst that quite a lot.

So if any additional new trades are now on your resume from some new job training,, along with the skills from previous work, and a person has spent all the cash to retrain, the fact still remains, that just because we are gray, over 55 move a bit slower than the young people, the chances are still aginst us any way, Right???

Do office clerks have less stress and more stable working hours? I dont like taking work home anymore. Its not required, but I have to in order to prep for the next day's lesson. I know as an office clerk, I have to deal with annoying coworkers, but at least I can try to reason with them or complain to management. With kids, I have to do some behavior management techniques which may take months to see some progress, plus I feel incompetent when my principal comes by to observe at a bad time when my kids arent settled. Are office clerks graded or critiqued every few months?

I like being creative, are there jobs that I will be good at , but dont have a lot of stress? How about a librarian or a school clerk?

Long story short, we refinanced our house in November and we are now realizing that we just can't afford our house. Looking over our loan documentation, I realized that the broker listed my income way above what it actually is, so they basically approved us for a loan we can't afford. Is there anything we can do other than sell our house...which will be very difficult to get what we owe on it with the market the way it is.

When my ex and I split up...he kinda took the debt w/ him. I had no credit cards in my name & still don't. He had a few in his name & we used them for different things. When we moved out of our house, he took the big items like the couches, big screen tv, computer, fridges, washer & dryer. Some things we paid cash for others we put on the credit card. Okay in my storage I don't have any of the expensive items maybe just the end tables, coffee table, our bedframe, etc. He doesn't help me w/ the kids money wise. I buy them everything, clothes, haircuts, shoes, etc. Well now he's crying that I should be helping him pay his debt off, that it's messed up that the credit cards are in his name & he's left with the debt. He wants me to give him money each month to put towards one of the cards. I started to feel bad & have been thinking about taking over one of the cards & paying it off. Should I do that even though he don't help me w/ the kids? He even says I owe him $200 because we had a

Hi,

I have my own online business which makes me good money. The problem is that i don't have expenses since everything is online, what should i do to lower my tax bill at the end of the year?

And by the way, i don't own a home and the car i have doesn't pay monthly because i bought it cash.

The reason i don't own a home is because at this moment i don't want one.

my pre approval letter is for 500k and im attemptting to buy a house listed for 240 which has been empty for 600 days on a bad street and vacant for 160k if the selling party knows how much im worth why would the seller even consider my low offer . i mean if the buying party ask for a pre approval letter do i have to provide it in order to put a bid in...it almost seem like a catch 22..i feel like my realtor might not even be presenting my offer in order to earn herself more cash by assisting the selling party to drive the price up in the transaction.....Heeeeeelp!!!!!!!

Let's say XYZ company missed earnings for the quarter and investors are disappointed. So, most likely they will try to get rid of the stocks of XYZ (at least for short-term period). Why would the other investor buy those stocks, knowing that others don't want them because of missed earnings? Question might look very banal, but I just wanted to know. Sorry for my ignorance.

If I have a loan for a house about to be done with, close escrow. and i still want to get a new credit card, amex card.

How does it affect me, if i do it right after they might not pick up the loan on the credit report and give me the amex card on my good credit.

If i wait 2-3 months later after my loan, will i be able to quailfy for a new card?

How does a home loan affect how they rate if you qualify for a credit card?

Lets say you are an hourly employee, and you take a week of unpaid vacation off of work. Two weeks later, you get a paycheck denoting pay for the week of vacation that you took. You think that perhaps you did in fact have paid vacation, so you go ahead and cash the check, and spend the funds. The amount of pay for that week was approximately $500.

About a month and a half later, and after quiting the job, you receive a letter saying that you were paid in error by no fault of your own, and that the ex-employer is requesting installment payments of the amount overpayed.

Can the ex-employer require you to pay back the wages that they paid you?

Note: there was no foul pay on your behalf i.e. you did not fradulently report time or misrepresent your vacation status. Management was fully aware that you were taking time off work. All actions by yourself were made in full faith.
