"i came home from a trip a few days ago. i found my front door kicked in, all of
my electronic gone, jewelry, and even my clothing gone. most of anything left
has been dameged.the insurance company had me to call a company to have the
doors secured. I have burgler bars across the back of my home, however there was
a key in the house that the burgle now has. I have no home for now, no cloths
and I'm do to return to work on Saturday. the insurance company says they will
get around to a walk through sometime next week he thinks. the insurance claims
ajuster also asked why don't I just fix the door and the locks and go home. The
policeman that went in with me at the time I discovered the breakin said it was
the worst and most malishus he had seen. The insurance man that i took out the policy with told me
that he was coming out to walk through the process with me. when I called today
a was told he no longer as of TODAY work there. no other information was given.
The Insurance company has left me out there with no help and no anwsers. Each
person I speak to tells me to call someone else. I've even been asked by someone
at the insurance company, what I thought they should do for me. I need help
where do I turn? what do I do?"

I'm specifically concerned with my wife's candle making craft.
She plans on selling a few candles to family and friends. Very small operation.
If one of these people burn their house down and decides to sue us because of a "faulty candle" (ugh .. the things you have to worry about these days!)
Would our umbrella policy cover it?

The funds would be given to the LLC in hopes to gain money or later join with the company. Would this money need to be taxed, and when? If possible supply a link with related information other than the broad link of irs.gov. Thankyou.

My Friend (A) is in a dispute with someone, who hired a lawyer (B). B threatened A that they would contact A's employer and tell them about what was going on, if A did not do a certain thing by a certain date for their client. A's employer has nothing to do with the dispute. Is this legal what B has done? If not, what can I do to get back at B? They have made my friend A a basket case by saying this!

I've heard that mortgage companies are trying to get new laws passed regarding 30 yr fixed mortgages. I've heard that they are trying to make it so that if any new company buys your mortgage the new company will be able to change your rate even though you signed papers for a fixed rate over the life of the loan. I currently carry an extremely low conventional mortgage with the rate of 5.25% fixed for 30yrs and I recieved this mortgage through a very ligitament bank. My contract states that no matter who purchase my mortgage they cannot change my rate throught the life of the loan no matter what. Obviously most banks don't hold onto the loans and my loan was sold to Countrywide about 4 months or so after the closing and I have been paying them for 5 years. But I've heard that they are trying to make it so they can change rates of fixed loans with new legislation. Is this true? If so can anyone point me to some info regarding it?

If the market goes down (like now) you can make profits by short selling, and if the market is going up you can just buy the stocks and make profits as well.

Is that correct?

Please help anyone! I have posted questions on this before.

My solicitors are telling me all that can be done is get a certificate of satisfaction for a mistake that they made, that resulted in a judgement against me (they basically didn’t pay on time, after a car accident). I want to see if there is SOMETHING/ANYTHING that can be done, to make them go through the painful process of reversing this judgement.

They are telling me nothing can be done. My credit rating file now has this, and I’m willing to go to any length to get it removed.

Any legal brains – help!!!!!

Too much easy money is what led to skyrocketing house prices and the current financial troubles in the economy. And this makes me wonder if the huge loans central banks gave to private banks in the last couple of days are only going to prolong this situation and perhaps make it worse in the long run?

Private banks will hide their bad loans for a while longer and perhaps even lend some more to people who can't pay. But in the end they'll have to come clean anyway?

I need to ask because cleaning up credit debt that has lay dormant for years is a tricky situation. The debts have been sold off and as soon as you make contact with the collection agencies all of a sudden the clock starts again and all he// breaks loose.

So...we have BK lawyers, credit counselors, financial advisers, etc so which ones are going to truly assist credit debt payoff strategy and report cleanup with my friend's best interest at heart?
