I'm sick of getting the shi# end of the stick, and I've decided that I'm going to lie on my resume. I've seen too many idiotic people get a job that pays way better than what I'll ever make just because they have a college degree. I don't have a college degree YET, but I'm getting straight A's in school, and I have a lot of work experience. Does anyone in YA land have experience with lying on their resumes? Any stories about how you lied and got the job as a result? I really need some encouragement! I'm going to apply for a business analyst position and think I have all my bases covered. I've even made some fake transcripts with a seal of the college printed on them. I doctored the transcripts with my name by using real ones. I'm aware of the possibility that an employer will do a background check on my education qualifications, but they do that BEFORE they hire someone. So, I'm still employed; therefore, I have nothing to lose! STORIES???

ok, so I saw on tv about cash flow business.....i really don't know if it really works. They say that you just have to do 3 steps: Finda a note, list it to find a match and earn money. Is that easy or what else do I need to do. Is it a lot of work? I someone knows about that, I would like some information. has it work for you?

I'm thinking of opening a joint checking account with my husband, who has a good job and a great credit score. I haven't worked in 3 years (been a stay-at-home mom) and my credit score is poor-fair. I haven't had any banking in my name since I stopped working (never planned it like that, we've just moved alot and didn't make time to opena new joint). Also, about 5 years ago, I bounced 2 checks from my personal account. I'm wondering if anyone who works in banking could tell me if I am still eligible to join my husband on a joint account even though I have this history of 2 bounced checks, a less-than-perfect credit score (which I'm working on), no banking in the last 3 years, and am not currently working? Or should he just add me to his existing account? Thanks so much! I dont want to be embarassed by going into a branch office and being denied

I've always wondered how people who are just starting are miraculously able to afford a $300,000 house.

Well, of course, they went for the extremely risky loans that were being offered to them left and right, no income verification, interest only, variable rate, etc., when interest rates were really low.

So is it now OUR FAULT and we're supposed to "bail them out" or else it will affect the economy?

NONSENSE. They took and knew the risk. And recent 1980's history warned them what could happen, and they ignored it. I mean, am I the only one who opens a history book any more?

But then there will be a glut of overpriced houses on the market! So? It will be a temporary thing. Believe me, people who really CAN afford it will buy up those houses at discount prices and reap the rewards, AS THEY SHOULD.

Should people who live beyond their means expect sympathy from those of us who play by the rules, sacrifice, wait, and save up for things?

What do you think?

Now they are billing me for the books then send to me after I requested several times for my membership to be terminate. Do I have to pay them?

Is it legal to have a mortgage in one name, call him Mr. X a sole borrower, even though he has signed a quit claim deed over to release all interest/ownership to his first wife Mrs. V?

No, it was not a part of their divorce decree. The divorce decree says the home will be sold "promptly"...that was 9/2003.

It just seems like the mortgage company is at risk this way. Since Mrs. V is not on the mortgage but lives there, Mr. X does not live there but pays rent elsewhere plus the mortgage note Mr. X could easily fall behind. And has.

So if he no longer owns the house, how does the mortgage company protect themselves from a default?

I have never dealt with health insurance before, sorry if my question is silly.

My health insurance ( NJ Horizon Blue Cross) covers prenatal care, including ultrasounds and blood work.

My doctor's office keeps on billing me for an ultrasound that supposed to be covered.

I've got the same bill about 4 times. When I call my insurance agency, they say that my ultrasound is completely covered, but doctor's office should use another code to fill in the claim.

I asked the office to change the code many times, but I still do not get coverage.

Is there anything I can do? I feel like I am going in circles. Who can really resolve this problem, doctor's office or insurance agency?

I heard that if you send them a check and write on the back ("accepting this check is evidence that the transaction is complete and this charge will deleted from my credit") Is this considered a written contract in colorado and do they have to stand behind it? Will they delete it from your credit report?

I know I am . I don't understand how these women can keep promoting a company that is a complete scam (AMERIPLAN) It is my newest waste of money and I had such high hopes for this company.
I joined and began advertising it right here on yahoo answers only to find out today that the company is just a bunch of liars and nobody even sells their so called product, they sell the "opportunity" but once they get you in they then try to sell you even more "crap" that you really don't need to run your business.

Long story short.
If your sick of these companies but are still looking for a good one like me, then join my new yahoo group and let's find one!

I am graduating from college this month and have been applying for jobs for the past month or so. My current location doesn't offer many job opportunities so the vast majority of jobs I have applied for are out of state. How do I convince employers in my cover letter to hire an out-of-state and entry-level candidate? I'm not expecting my relocation expenses to be paid.

My business neighbor recently wrote me a check to pay for the water bill (we share the water bill) but my bank returned a copy of the check to me (NSF) and charged the $100 amount on the check and additional $5 fee. So I lost $105 from my account plus not receiving the $100 thats owed. It's my first time receiving a bad check. Is the bank supposed to do that? They also attached a substitute check policy along with the bounced check copy. How do I get the money back? And what actions should I take if my neighbor doesnt pay the amount he's owed? I dont want to pursue legal actions right away but its just difficult to contact him because he never answers his cell phone when I call him, and he rarely calls me back even if I leave a lot of messages. Thank you for helping.

In Texas we are a right to work state we don't have to put up with no stupid unions. How can it be an issue for someone who works for a company for many years to go into buissiness against his employer if they did not have a no compete clause. This person was the one person who was certified by the state and allowed the company to operate. He quit started his own buisness took most of the clients with him they were with the other company because of him anyway. Now his previous employer has got a stop work order from the courts against him. And has filed a lawsuit against him.
