I need to order something from an online store and since it only takes mail order for the time, i need some information. I don't usually send many things but I wasn't sure what time the U.S. postal service would roughly get to the house and pick up the envelope. I'm not very familiar with it and I want to know what would be the most convenient time to have it in my mailbox.

Hello
Ive had a relative get scammed out of 20K by a Nigerian. SHe was selling her car on autotrader and someone wrote her saying that he was an American agent of a Nigerian citizen who was interested. However the Nigerian was going to send 1 check to my relative in the amount of 20K and she was suppose to send the rest to the Agent as part of the commission. So a cashiers check arrives in 2 days and it looks genuine (water mark and everything) and she takes it to the bank. After 1 day she withdrew 7K to send to wire to the agent. 3 Days later the bank calls and is threatening to arrest her for fraud, they seize her accounts, her mothers accounts, and put a lein on her car. They hold all these things as collateral for the 27 K "loan" until she repays it. On top of it all the loan is at a rediculous APR, and they never gave any type of proof! Obviously it was a fake check but the bank never once tried to do anything judicial. Is there anything she can do, shes only 21!

Does face value make any difference to the share price? In two stocks having same EPS but different face values, should the price of both be equal assuming all other things equal?

I hit a basketball hoop in a back street with my commercial truck. The owner contacted me and says its worth $450. Should I go give him $450 or contact my insurance. I am an LLC if I pay him, he could still say I didn't compensate him enough. What should I do?

I am starting up my own little e-Bay business and need some input. Basically, I want to sell things for people (parents or adults) that want to get rid of things but don't have the time to do so. I figured I can take care of e-Bay listings and shippings so they don't have to life a finger.

My question is, what is a fair commission to ask for when selling these goods (could be anything)? I was thinking maybe around 15%...but nothing over. What do you think?

For myself I have KO,WFC,VTI,WMT,AGG. Each has $1000 worth of shares.

For my 5 y rold she has vTI, Spdr , qqqq, KO and AGG. I also bought $1000 share of each for her.

Is her portfolio good enough to where she will have enough for college by the time she is 18 and is mine good for some extra money on the side?

I just went through an ordeal where an employer kept alluding to the fact that I was an excellent candidate. He even emailed me a message telling me the salary and asking me to email him if I was still interested, which I did.

Well, I did not get the job. It hurts because the employer was the reason I put too much hope in this position. I will try to be more careful next time. Never put all of your eggs in one basket!

That the FED can take tax payer money and help replenish all the banks , lending agencies, and credit card companies to keep them in bussiness, while at the same time all them agencies are watching everyone loose their homes, and everything they worked hard for, and end up with destroyed credit histories? and the Fed has even offered to help foreign country Financial institutions in the same fashion, and yet it offers no help to the American Tax payers who are loosing everything. and mind you now! it's all tax payer money that they're doing this with. IS IT FAIR??

I'm looking to buy a home that will be paid for predominantly by funds from my single mother, roughly around a $150k "donation" that she isn't looking to have paid back. It's simply a gift of sorts, and neither of us are looking to give any of that money to Uncle Sam through the gift tax.

Also, we're not looking to apply any of this "gift" towards the $1,000,000 lifetime exclusion limit against her estate, because should I outlive her, her estate will go to me and may likely be worth more than the 1 million, so cutting into that limit now is not an option either.

My question is: What's the best way she could basically buy me the house, put it solely in my name and avoid paying huge amounts of taxes on it whether now or in the future when I sell the house?

I truly thank you for any guidance you can offer.

The seller bought the house in april 07 for 91,000.00
They maybe put 10,000 into fixing it up and now want to sell for 134,900. Is this justified? Can I lowball and get a much better price?
