It's not always a ton, but still you can make a lot. You can find a lot of interesting sites at my blog. I know sites that will pay you for surveys, offers, banner clicks, posting on forums, using search engines and others. And it's free and easy to start.Also I can provide a tutorial for better success.

It's a HUGE scam!! And I mean huge!! How would you like to wake up to over 300 emails in you mail account? That's what happened to me when i believed that crap about surveys. I finally got my money back and will NEVER do anything that stupid again!!

A LOT of those are scams. Be careful, i'm not sure of the best way to find out whether or not yours is real.
