I want to go to NYC for a week in March and I did the flight and hotel thing and to and from is 2,510 and I want some spending money too. Does anyone have any tips? I have a lil over 1,200 in my account. I make atleast 800 a month so does anyone have any tips on saving and what not?

You can work 40 hours a week at Mconalds and probably make more than 800 a month..You need a new job and then save the difference.

Save about $130 a week till then and you should have enough money. That may mean giving up on some stuff you normally do. Don't go out and spend money on food when you can buy food cheaply and eat at home. Don't do much drinking or smoking between now and then. That stuff costs. No lottery tickets. Cut back on stuff you don't really need. I shaved $150 off my phone bill by eliminating stuff I do not need and cancelling stuff I never use. Reduce the amount of driving you do.
I have no idea of what your bills are. However, $130 a week when you are earning only $800 a month will probably be hard. Your best bet is to get another job. Deliver pizzas or something. 20-30 hours a week will give you easily that much money and more by March if you save it.
Also, don't fall for the scammers who promise that you can make a fortune on their fly by night website or by investing your money with them.

You could get a second job for a few months and save all the income from that job.

Google one of those jobs, where its only temporary of things like what you want to do, I think they pay you like? $15 a hour. and you work for 6 hours from mon-friday. So if you do that for like 2 weeks you can have....I think around? 1,250 or 1,260. so that got you ahead start. like go to monster.com?
