I was fired from my former company for an unrelated issue and at that time I was ordered to turn over my company credit card, ID, business cards.
Six months later, I have a new job, moved, and tried to buy a car and before they could extend me a loan, I needed to fix my Amex account. I obtained a copy of my credit report to find that my company credit card had not been paid, to the tune of $368, after fees. Experian now shows "180 days delinquent." I called my co. and they admit responsibility for the amt, but they are not responsible for my credit report based on terms of credit card as they were just a cosigner. Amex says the report is accurate and will not help me. If I had left the company on my own, I would have agreed with my company's stance. Since I was terminated, and ordered to turn over the company cards, I was denied access to the information. Anyone else gone through this mess? Contemplating a lawsuit against my former company and want general laymens opinions....

Bank statements and paid cheques are returned by the bank to Nice, who retains them in his files after preparing the monthly bank reconcilaition. Reports of disbursements are also prepared by Nice and submitted to Kisun at the home office on scheduled dates.

I work for a casino which uses over 150 decks of cards per day. I would like to encourage them to begin shipping the used cards to our soldiers overseas.

I'm wondering if:
1) Some percentage of the cost of the cards would be tax deductible
2) The shipping costs will be tax deductible
3) There are any other positive or negative legal or tax rammifcations I should know about before making my proposal

I've been told the credit agencies want to see you "manage" debt, and not necessarily create, them immediately pay it off. Part of the credit game so the banks can make money off balance via APR. Is this true?

I am a recent college graduate and have started a career. I want to learn more about my investment options. Everyone lists: 401K, Roth IRA and regular IRA and life insurance. But those are a given, what are my other options?

My main interest would be in investments requiring low or no taxes. If taxes will be deducted I would prefer the option of being taxed prior to any gains.

How can I find financial & technical backers for my idea for a unique community-based website business? My cash reserves and technical background are too limited to take this on by myself. Should I develop a business plan and take the proposal to an existing website business? Or is there a better way?

an ex tenet who was evicted is now sueing my grandfather for un returned security deposit. well that sounds nice but you cant take money from social security or his pention right? please provide your'e information source. p.s the tenet didnt get her deposit back because her cat pissed all throughout the house causing a few thousand dollars in damage. basicly the ex tenets where white trash. as to why my grandfather never gave them a notice I don't know. but its like it told him " don't bother going to court they cant take garnish your social security or pention" . one more thing my grandfather is to cheap to get an estimate on the damage so no use in counter sueing.

I want to go back to college in the Spring and finish my degree in music education. I currently have a full time job which I have been working at for almost a year now. However, the hours are 9-6. I don't feel they would let me change my hours around to suit my schedule. I want to find a part time job(s) which would give me secure income and allow me to have time for my classes. Which kind of options are available? Thanks so much!

Hi. I need help. My credit score is 553. It was 601 a few weeks ago. I have several derogatory marks on my credit history (mostly medical bills that went to collection). I obtained my credit report in 03/06 and have been diligently paying off all late accounts. I just had 2 new items pop up with my credit report watch. I disputed both items. The collection agencies reported them accurate despite my sending proof of payment PRIOR to their posting the derogatory remarks. I am planning on moving to NYC in 02/08.

I have several accounts with perfect history.
1. Why did it drop when I did not pay late?
2. How long will it take me to get over 620?
3. Can I get an apt with a credit score of 620?
