1. Allowing single cheque signatories can result in fraud. A co. should always have at least 2 signatories for each cheque.
2. Allowing the cheque signatory to be in charge of preparing the bank rec can result in errors not being reported.
3. The Bank recs prepared by one person should be reviewed by another person instead of being filed away.
