If I asked the builder what the value was and if the market had changed and they advised me that the house was worth more than what I was paying, yet when asked why the appraisal didn't have the high value was advised they can only go off pruchase contract which was 7/05 value. Lender and builder were the same in az. Any ideas - the house is worth less than the mortgage. HELP, help.

I currently work at CompUSA, and have been for the past 3 years. I'm currently making $10.60 an hour and I hate it there because I seriously get like 8 hours a week. I have an Interview at Best Buy and want to know what I can expect for an hourly wage.

I'm an aspiring writer and photographer, and I think if I had my own website it would really help jumpstart my career. What are the costs behind that? What can I expect to pay and what steps do I have to take to make it happen? any other details would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

A friend of mine who's in the gutter business went to a house where I'm the general contractor and installed some gutters, while he was there he drove over some fresh landscaping. The client brought it to my attention. The landscaper charged $200 to come back and fix it. When i paid my gutter guy, I asked him to be more careful and that I had been backcharge but was not charging him....I knew it was a snall job for him.....no big deal. I appreciated him coming back to do it.

Suprizingly he showed his *** and said that I shouldn't have even brought that up.

Here I thought I was doing him a favor by not back charging him.

QB prompt says: future updates won't work, which we knew would happen and we planned on ordering the newer version. But to our surprise (and after completing a week of payroll unknowing), the payroll tax calcs ended on 05/31/07 disregarding any prior purchased tax updates. Our tax update service is paid thru Nov 2007. We have a big mess that I'm sure the IRS would not be happy about.

Like fools, my husband and I were convinced by my mother who was recently divorced and had no where to go that we should sale our small home and buy a new big home that would accomodate her moving in with us. We didn't really want to as, the house we had was small, but very affordable, but she's my mom and I felt bad for her.So She gave us $20k and we bought a bigger home. Now, 6 months later it is not working out to say the least, our one condition of her living with us was that her ex-husband who is a drug addict & a criminal was never allowed to be in my home. She told me he moved to the east coast & he was gone.I was suspicious cuz things in my home appered to be tampered with.I installed surveillance cameras & caught him in my home. Now I am having her evicted but she is syaing she owns 1/3 of this house.I am giving her $20K back no problem, but she really thinks she owns a 1/3.Her name is on nothing and we have no contracts or writen agreements.Does she have a case?

I know shorts are shares somebody borrows from a bank when they think a stock is declining and then they sell the shares at a lower price and give them back to the bank. I'm interested in getting set up to do this, do brokerage firms do this also? Thanks

I have considered buying the home. Do i need to contact the landlord or the morgage company that is foreclosing? And what are the chances of getting a good deal? or is it just a waste of my time and i need to start packing?

The home I really want to make an offer on is said to be in pre foreclosure. The preliminary title search I had done does not list any NOD or judgement. The agent I have been talking to said that she heard the owner has just had one contract fall over, but doesn't know why. Will my offer, if and when I make it,(there are some other issues I have to sort out first), and assuming no NOD, need lender's approval?

I asked a question about searching a property title in the Yahoo community recently. In one answer, there was a reference to a mechanics lien being an example of an encumbrance. I read somewhere that unpaid subcontractors could seek this remedy, but who would foreclose on the property in this case? If I want to make an offer on a property with such a lien, how can I help the seller settle the claim first?

i know, dumb. But making sure.
if you open up your own business and shop, you're the boss right?
you get to hire all the employees and do everything???

that means, you can take a break whenever you want right?
