I have recently built a website, www.mtselection.com. The traffic statistics say 1 unique visitor and 100 page views. What does it mean? Pls take a look at the site and give me your opinion on it as an affiliates marketing tool. Thanks all.

how can I get these off my credit without starting the Statue of Limitiations starting all over again once I contact the companies. By the way - these companies have all sold them and beefed up the amount to ridiculous amounts. For instance a $32.00 charge I disputed is now up to $4,000 and has been sold to about 5 companies. How can I address this?? I tried to call the 3 big credit companies -but I can't get to a human to help me.

Fed up of reading moans from people trying to escape bad credit. Errrr... like, get a life. Read something from a guy who went bankcrupt and wanted advice on buying a home abroad in his wifes name, presumably so his creditors wouldn't find out!! It makes you laugh, doesn't it? Is it only suckers like me that pay for everything I have? I do have sympathy with people trying to get back on the right track, but honestly a holiday home abroad!!! It's a bit about being a grown up isn't it? (Am awaiting the onslaught!).

For example, when characters on tv are one hit wonders, and they buy loads of stuff then go bankrupt. There are guys that come and cart out everything, but aren't they legally theirs because they bought it. If i went bankrupt, they wouldnt take my guitar and stuff, because it's mine. Right?

When my husband and I first got married we racked up my credit cards. It's now, 2 kids and 3 years later. We havent paid anything since 2004. I have about 30,000 on credit cards. More than we can pay. Will this just fall of my credit, the money owed? or just the negative comments? I am debating on waiting and not paying or filing bankruptcy. Basicalymy only options. Does anyone knowhow this works? or know the rules on this?
Thank You so much!

I recently joined a non-profit org as a member. The form stated that membership dues are not tax deductible (although it did state that substantial donations to the organization's "foundation" are). Is this correct?

Also, I recently sponsored an event to benefit this non-profit. Included in the sponsorship package was listing on advertisements and websites. Could this be deducted as "advertising"?

Thanks for any informed assistance.

I work 24 hours a week and they asked me to come in on my day off for an hour. It's quite annoying b/c I have to go to the babysitters, drive out to work, work the hour, then drive back to the babysitters...I used up basically 2 hours of time. I heard there's a law (CT) that if you come into work for one hour they have to at least pay you for 3, is this true?
