My rent is due on the first of the month, but I had heard that as long as it gets postmarked by the fifth there are no legal grounds for the landlord to charge me a late fee. Is this true?

I was still making payments on a used vehicle and when it was declared totaled by ins company I had to find anothe vehicle, make up the difference due on used car loan and then go find another vehicle. I also had neck and back injury and sought medical attention and physical therapy referred to therapist by my doctor. What am I due for this mess. I am more stressed than every before because now sales tax come into play, the extra amount added to a new car note because I had to have transportation and now more stress trying to figure out what steps I need to take to get ready for even more years of car payments. I missed a total of 3 days off from work, three doctor visits and 4 trips to see a physical therapist. Now I am going through mental stress because I wasn't ready for long term payments but because of owing on the other car I had to find someone who would accept my delima. Thank God I was able to purchase a new car but now am strapped thanks to this ugly accident.

Hi,

If I get a Chase freedom credit card, $0 annual fee, and I pay the credit bill in full each month, do I never pay one cent more than I actually spend, regardless of APRs?

On my credit report, I have a car repossession that is close to it's statue of limitations. I disputed the debt and the debt is currently showing, "closed, transferred to another lender" on my credit report with a zero balance. What does this mean?

Hi, so thanks to a big misunderstanding on my (ex) fathers part my 2005 taxes were not filed. Being a dependent then he screwed alot up. So I filled out a 2005 1040 EZ and NYS tax return.. Now im wondering the 1040 says i owe $305.... Does anyone have any idea how much I might end up paying after filing and late fees. I called the IRS and the lady said she is not allowed to answer that. I heard there is some formula...Thanks for any idea.

I have got my first ever job interview tommorow, it is working at a bank on the telephone as a customer advisor, i know it is going to be a competency based interview and have researched into example questions, as i have just left colllege and have very little experience in the working environment i am finding it really difficult to come up with good answers to questions such as Give an example of when you have provided good customer service? Our credit rating isn't wonderful, and we are working on paying off credit cards. We have about 7000 in credit debt. Is it better to just make extra payments or look to find sometime of financing to pay it off despite not having a good credit rating?
