You can't. Banks have a cut off time; usually 3 or4 pm. Anything deposited after that goes on the next days business. That's how they make money off your " free" checking.

If you put the check in your bank's atm machine, you will be credited automatically with the first 100 dollars. I'm not sure if that will be enough money to cover your overdraft, but that is what I would do. I've done this with Bank of America many times in the past so I know it works. Call your bank now, they all have live operators (maybe they are still there now to answer your questions).

you can't. After the bank closes, it is next business day... and, when you cash a check at a bank, they can hold the funds for up to 10 business days depending on the bank's policy - the best solution is direct deposit.

you can't.

the bank handles its books overnight, so if it is closed already, the books have already received all the deposts they'll receive.

Now, if the item won't be presented until tomorrow, you can deposit cash at opening through a live human being and then ask them this same question -- that they can handle.
