Does anyone know by which date form 1099-misc HAS to be mailed out - by law?

I am a high school and we are doing a research project on a "medium" sized business. This business must have more then 50 employees; but less then 500 employees, annual revenues of at least $5,000,000 and a global presence. Any ideas what business/company i could use?

Okay. My parents did not help me go to college, and I have had to have a job every since I was sixteen to pay my bills. It would take me two to three years to even get an associates degree. Anybody have any advice about how to land great jobs without a degree??? Geese, I mean you pay 50k for education, and even if you get a good job, you are in dept from student loans until you are like fifty!!!

The plan requires you be 21 and I'm only 19, I invested 500 dollars into it and the 401K complany is sending me that money back, the company i work for has a policy to match a certain amount of the money invested, should I be intilted to that money?

I have recently started a new job. They are a growing company, with 5 men in the office and me. The thing is, they have no proper procedures. Everything is so unorganised i am suprised they make any money! I really want to impress them and help get the office running smoothly but i don't know where to start. He took money out of my bank account a couple of times and overdrew my account at 2 different banks. I closed that accounts but they said it would remain on my credit score for seven years. Is there anything I can do?

But i have to then pay her 150.00 to collect it, she put the phone down on me, and told me she was going to get me arrested if i didnt pay her, i have had no letters about this being sent to a debt collector. Dont know where i stand as i have not had this before.
She was rude and put the phone down on me.
the lady is called gail lucas and she works for a company called drakes debt collectors for the courts.
What can i do

I work for an insurance company and we had 2 teams of office assistants that they now combined to 1 team. We have been 1 team for months but still act like 2 separate teams. One team are very hard workers well organized and the other only does what is required and does not like change. Any suggestions?

My husband got fired from his job of 7 years two weeks ago.
It was his fault, they made him work 16 hours strait and he was tired so he didn't do proper preformance on his patrol (Security)
We went on vacation, and when he came back his account manager said not to go to work and come to her office the next day to find out why.
They had reviewed tapes and he didn't do anything for the last 8hrs of his shift because he was tired.
The reson the reviewd tapes was because something happen the week he was gone, and they did everone,and fired a couple of people and wrote up the rest for job preformance.
My question is now he is reapplying and he doesnt know what to but for reason leaving.. I know fired is bad is there a word you can use to work around being fire.

I have the knowledge and the degrees, but very low academic scores. I also failed a year. What should I say if they ask why did I get low grades in exams? I am stressed.

However, I have a sound knowledge, but low grades are worrying me.

I know in life grades don't matter and it's the knowledge that matters, but what if they ask me about my low grades?

Hiya,
I'm an Italian girl and I'm moving to England in a couple of months.
I have an italian degree but no work experience.
Do you suggest I start with temp work or apply for permanent positions straight away?
I've heard there are pros and cons for both and I really don't know where to start.
All I know is that I want to pursue a career in Marketing. I've already applied for a CIM part time course and, in the meantime, I basically just need a job to pay for my rent and bills (Admin work maybe?).

They keep calling us, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day, asking for someone we have never heard of. We have told them they have the wrong number, but still they keep calling. They interrupt dinnertime, call late in the evening, and are driving us nuts. They are sometimes very rude, and even though we've said, "TAKE OUR NUMBER OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM" the calls keep coming and coming. What should we do??
