I have a salon and employ 6 staff, i m interested in taking on a self employed barber. He will be using only a small amount of electricity and water.I feel that would rather charge per day an amount than a percentage, is there an average amount ? i realise the location and price he charges would have to come into consideration.

i bought something from ebay. i live in australia and the total comes up as $28 in Us dollars(it's from america) Then underneath it has the item in australian dollars as $36.16.My question is do i pay what the American dollars say or the australian dollars,may seem like a dumb question but i'm new to all of this.

My boyfriend plays poker online and i have let him use my card to deposit money a few times and he gives me the cash. Now I have noticed on my bank statement that they are taking money out on a regular basis (sometimes twice a day), Ive been with my boyfriend on these occasions and know that he hasnt put money in, (I've been with him for 7 years and know he wouldnt rip me off!) I have to go into today to fill out paperwork for a new job I'm starting. Feb. 12th is my best friend's b-day and us and some other people planned going out of state to a concert. I don't know if I'd have to work that day or not. I don't know what the scedule will be, but if that day is on my scedule, would it be bad to ask for that day off explaining that I made these plans before I started working? It would really disappoint my friend if I didn't go. Should I ask for that day off, or just work it if I'm sceduled for that day?

I find that I spend an awful lot of time sorting out problems with my cable and broadband provider/gas and electric company etc. not to mention wrongly delivered goods/incomplete goods etc etc etc. What's more, their so-called customer helplines make being unhelpful into an art form and can be so rude to you, the paying customer. I have to say that things are much the same before they have secured your purchase, in many cases. Have you tried asking for advice in an electrical store recently? Is the philosophy of customer-satisfaction just a token gesture nowadays? Why and how do these companies continue to generate huge profits despite essentially poor consumer-relations (regardless of what their 'surveys' show)?

And now she saying that she wants to file for her baby but i already filed for them both. OK from a moral point of view, the decision of Carphone Warehouse to withdraw support from the controversial show Celebrity Big Brother (UK) was clear to see - but will it have been a good decision commercially speaking? After all, the programme's viewing figures during the final stages (ie post sponsorship withdrawl) were high (they went up, of course!). On the other hand, will the extra "free" publicity that the actual withdrawl itself gained them - plus the perception of them as being "morally commendable" and therefore "OK" to deal with - more than offset the fact that they no longer appeared as the programme's sponsors at that stage? I'd love to hear some hard evidence to support your views too - if possible!
