For your first job, if asked you say "negotiable" or "open". We all had to start somewhere.

When you have no experience you take what you can get, then after a year or so if you haven't gotten raises, you can look for another job.

Good luck.

When the job offer is made, you may then ask what is the salary range? It may be an advantage to offer to take a lower wage and then have an evaluation in 90 days. If you have proven yourself at that time, perhaps a wage increase is in order. Good luck and work hard.

do a little research, get some idea what starting salary is for job like you're taking. don't say minimum wage, they have to give it to you anyway. it likely they have a standard starting salary, but you should have some idea if that is fair or not
