I would like to try to buy a new home without using an agent to save from paying extra on commissions. I have submitted offers in the past using an agent and it looks so easy.

Is this something I can do on my own, or do I need a license?

I got scammed by AWSM Technology. They have taken a lot of money from me and I have nothing in return. I want to know how to get my money back from work at home scams and if anyone knows of a legitimate work at home business. My husband of three years filed bankruptcy before he met me, is it on my credit??? How do I find out what is on my credit report... I have done a free credit check a few years ago, and now I can't do it again unless I pay to have it checked... anything I can do to find out???

Pinnacle Credit Services is trying to collect a debt dated 2001 that has been sold to 3 different debt collectors. But, I payed one of the debt collectors almost 6 years ago and they will not give me the names of the previous debt collectors that owned my account and that the main owner (Verizon Wireless) sent me to. Verizon says they are not allowed to give me that information but they do have the three names of the debt collectors and said Pinnacle Credit Services should have that information, but they won't give it to me. Am I legally entitled to get the names of the previous debt collectors that I was sent to? I don't have the recipt from the debt collector I paid 6 years ago but they would have it on record so I need those 3 debt collection agency's names. Am I entitled to these names? Because they are threatening to take legal action if I don't pay, but they won't give me this information..

My family was going to claim me, but, they can not. the only income I recieved last year was ADC, is there a way to file taxes with only this as income. Someone told me I should get a form from the state that states how much was paid to me. I have not gotten one yet. My question is am I going to get one? and can I file taxes on just recieving ADC? I used a certain shuttle service and was charged almost 30% gratuity directly to my credit card. The only charge that was directly stated in an email to me was the actual fee ($51) for the shuttle service and "gratuities, toll, and parking" which were not directly stated. I called the company to see what the extra charge was and was told that it was for gratuity as there were no tolls or parking fees. Is it legal for a company to charge an undefined amount of gratuity and make you pay for it? Can I legally ask the company to take the gratuity charge off of my bill as I gave the driver a cash tip? I did not know at that time that the gratuity had already been charged to my credit card.

My husband recently recieved a collections notice in the mail, for an account with a date from 1997 on it. We've never gotten anything from this company before, and when we checked our credit reports (yes all 3 credit companies) there was nothing on there about this account. I've already checked the company and it is a legitimate company, but something about this doesn't seem right. We're in the process of writing a letter of dispute, but I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions of what we should be doing about this?
