We plan to file Married Filing Separately, and I have read that if one spouse itemizes, so must the other. What does this mean? What if I don't have anything to itemize? We use TurboTax, so it determines if I itemize or not. Help!

Can the non-residential parent claim a child for the additional tax credit with the proper signed form from residential parent or as a line 6 exemption only?
Thanks. I've looked all over the irs' site and can't seem to find the answer to this. Maybe it's just too early and they aren't using plain enough English for me :P

If I lived in rented accommodation and enjoy myself spending money like there’s no tomorrow. What is there stopping me throwing in the towel and becoming insolvent, Bankrupt.
There are enough lenders that will give me more money even though I would have a bad dept problem. So you could, in theory, do it again and again.

Not only that I could have a very happy 3-4 years spending all that money that the banks want to through at me at no real expense to myself.

Now what would happen if we all did it?

When people come to view the house i am selling, do i briefly show them round and then naff off so they can look for themselves, or does that just mean they might look under the rug and find the mouldy patch in the bathroom, or run off with my valuables??? Should i stay with them... do i offer them tea, or show them round and out as quickly as possible?? Am i allowed to lie about what a nice area this is or do i tell them about the ASBO hoodies.... What do you think??
