will they get the money first to charge their fees? and then they reroute the fund to the account? or will the IRS send them their fees and the rest of the money to me? I noticed that when I was filling out the paperwork with HR block they changed the depositing account number but they said that was not going to affect my refund to be deposited in my account...

The IRS will send the money to them and they will deduct their fees then they will route the rest of the money to your account. They change they account number so that it will be recongnized by their system so that they can deduct their fees.

From your question, it seems that you had your tax preparation fees taken out of your refund. Today the IRS is scheduled to send your refund. The refund will go to the bank HR Block deals with, HSBC Bank, not your bank. HSBC bank will then pay HR Block their fees, and deposit the balance into your bank account.

Your bank may not post the deposit to your account for a few days. Check with your bank to see that a deposit has been posted to your account early next week.
