I represent a neighborhood in north Atlanta of approximately 70 homeowners. We are an older neighborhood, with older homes, mostly appraised around $220K. Compared to today's standards, our landlots are pretty big, with the smallest being around 1/2 acre.

Million-dollar gated communities are starting to go up all around us. Rather than let the neighborhood be "mcmansioned" out of existense, we are contemplating organizing to sell the neighborhood as single offer.

Does you have experience with this, or resources to investigate on how to go about this? What's the up and the down side. Thanks for all your input.

...and you get into the real world, how bad is it? Am I going to be fighting to stay alive for every breath to just to pay the rent and get basic provisions? Will my survival be at the mercy of an idiot boss who delights in the torture of his employees? Is it going to be an inferno, a roast, or just a slow grill? Is it that bad even in the richest country in the world?

When applying for jobs with the state or some banks, they want to know the exact dates (no estimating) of employment, your exact title, and your starting & ending salary of every job you've ever held even if it was over 30 years ago and you only worked 1 day there. How in the world do they think you can possibly find this? Does anyone know if there are resources available? Don't know where to start!!! HELPPPPPPPPPP!

there is a house I am trying to do a short sale on. I got permission from the owner to talk to the bank. I also got a quitclaim deed from the owner. The problem is that the bank cannot find the mortgage for the house. It also never went to a sherifs sale when it was supposed to. I was wondering if the bank can't find the mortgage does that mean I automatically own it, or is there a legal process I have to go through? I would apreciate it if someone who knows a lot about short sales and real estate law to answer this please!!

This student is a 20 unit UCLA Law major who needs money but can't even work a part-time job. Without inculding college debt, this student needs 1.5k every month(rent, car, gas, food, insurance, utilities). A part-time min-wage job is not an option due to class load and $400-$500 isn't worth negitive effects on performance.

Thus, I'm asking for out of the box ideas. No "get a job at McDonalds" or "Spend less money". Those have already been thought of and done.
