There is a lot of frustration and downside to teaching. But don't let that scare you away, just take it as a warning that things will not always be storybook perfect. If you love working with young children, there is no better career. It fills your heart with joy to hear one of your students tell their parents how much they love their teacher. Not all will, but even a few are enough to keep you going.

Volunteer at a childcare center.See how you do being around little kids all the time.If you LOVE kids,Then it should be a great career for you.

You have to REALLY love young kids and all that goes with them. Including the screaming and the diapers. Good Luck!

If you like working with children and doing tons of paperwork, then it is for you. Oh, and don't forget the parent that calls at nine pm, to find why you upset there little angel
