My family was going to claim me, but, they can not. the only income I recieved last year was ADC, is there a way to file taxes with only this as income. Someone told me I should get a form from the state that states how much was paid to me. I have not gotten one yet. My question is am I going to get one? and can I file taxes on just recieving ADC? I am in NEbraska

No income = no reason to file.

The two refundable credits are based on "earned" income. This means you must have a job.

Hmm, do you have any dependents? If you have a child who lives with you, you might be able to get something. But I am not sure. Find a tax volunteer near you, and asked them.
