Hello! I have made some bad decisions in the past, and they have messed up my credit. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where I can get financed with a decent interest rate and approximately 500-1000 down for a vehicle of nearly 6000 dollars. HELP! I am on yahoo messenger at lawguy04_1984 if anyone has any further questions to help in the answering process, thanks!

My husband and I are both on the deed which I asked not to be but somehow ended up on it. I am not on the mortgage since my credit was bad and I have a fine I had to pay from previous action non-tax related that I just found out they put a lien on the property for. Can I get my name off the property so he doesn't have to pay for my mistake since the house is for sale now. Will the lien stay even if I relieve my ownership? Or is he stuck with it?

Several months ago, I hit some major financial troubles causing me to fall behind in paying an unsecured debt. They refuse to work with a credit counseling service and demand the balance in full and I have not been able to pay it back yet and havent been able to make payments in several months...however whenever I check my credit report...the debt isn't even listed...what's up? If Im several months late, wouldn't it be reported?

I filed my taxes and the irs accepted them on 1/15, said would take 8-15 days. I waited then checked irs.gov for 'where's my refund?' and it said that it would be direct deposited on 1/26. so i waited, checked again on 1/26 said same thing, so i figured w/ the weekend it wouldn't hit my bank til 1/30 or 1/31. checked again at 10.15pm on 1/30 said was direct deposit on 1/26........then checked again at 4.45am on 1/31 and all of a sudden it is now 'a delay in processing my refund'. I called them and they said that they just needed more time. it would be 2-8 more weeks. so how can they do that? deposit it then take it back and why would they?

A friend of mine didn't have enough money taken out of her check and now owes the IRS about $700. She filled out her W-4 correctly to have the deductions withheld but her employer failed to take enough money out. Is this her fault? Does she still have to pay this amount, even though her employer didn't withhold enough money? I figured it out and according to the amount the government requires you to pay (10%), she does actually owe the money, but had her employer been taking out the money correctly, it would have been paid all year long. I told her it didn't matter if her employer didn't take enough money out, it was still her responsibility to make sure her withholding was correct, and thus, her fault she now owes but she insists its not her fault. Thanks in advance for your help!

My very close friend and roommate in college recently had his uncle pass away. His uncle left him with 2 million dollars( honest, he was a lottery winner). He wants to invest in a certificate of deposit and simply live off the interest as long as he can. I actually thought this was smart that way he wont squander it all away in college. I think CD's offer 5% annually. If he had a 12 months cd and invested all 2 million... wouldnt that be $8,333 a month just in interest? I just want to check the math. Also, are there any limits on how much you can put into a CD?

Is there anyone out there working for a pharmaceutical company that might need a lab assistant. I post raw materials as they came to the lab. Kept up the standards, retains and the folders for all the materials. Put out materials for the chemists to test. I did testing myself also and kept a lab notebook. I also did test in the QA Lab of the batches that were being made to make sure they met specifications (etc.).
