I have applied at almost every place you cant think off. I am 17 by the way...and the business such as CVS or even fast food places and Best Buy and Staples. lol...there is more but for some reason I never get a call back or anything. They don't even see me why is that, I have not worked any place before besides family and family friends businesses because I helped them for to gain experience. Please is there a website or ideas from you to fix this problem?

lol, by the way someone in the answers said that I might be a criminal or anything like that, well the answer is no I am not a bad person, lol. Also I have no experience at all, thats why I want to work to get experience. I am almost 18 so I want to save up now so I will be ready for the future.

You might go through this checklist to see if you need to make some adjustments:
* Wear a tie, nice shirt, khakis, and nice shoes when seeking employment.
* Have a resume printed which would include your education (cite your study concentration; GPA; attendance record; and anything favorable), work experience, sports, and hobbies. Include three references (perhaps a teacher, minister, former employer, school guidance counselor, etc.).
* Be sure you speak professionally... watch your grammar. Be polite and use "sir" or "ma'am."
* Watch your posture... don't slouch, it implies laziness. Don't lean back in a chair... it suggests you want to be impressed. When standing, be erect. When sitting, lean a little toward the interviewer while sitting up straight... it shows you give full attention to those speaking to you.
* Have good eye contact... don't be looking at the floor when someone is speaking to you. Many teens do this if they are a bit shy...avoid it.
* When applying, look back at your approach. Did you go in with the idea that you want to help or just that you want some money? Have the right mindset... say something like, "Hi, I'm (first and last name) and go to (local high school). I was wondering if you could use some help here. (Allow the person to respond... if they say they're not hiring, be sure to say "Thank you. If your needs change, here's my resume. Please keep me in mind." Follow-up with a firm handshake if appropriate (never offer it to a woman... let her initiate the handshake). Then leave smiling and visit another dozen businesses that day using the same approach. After visiting 100 businesses and you still aren't getting hired, you should seek professional career guidance at your local community college... those services are generally low in cost and you will improve your skills at interviewing. Good luck!

It likely is due to the fact you have no work history, don't forget to put down any jobs you have had such as babysitting, delivering papers, doing yard work, anything that you were paid for. References help, use anyone you have done tasks for, the employer wants to see that you are trustworthy and do a good job for your wage as well as being on time. Can you use teachers or anything you have volunteered for as references?

Well, do you have anything severe on your record, any criminal charges or things of that nature? That can be the problem...but if not, and your a good citizen, the interview part might be weak and you need to learn how to be interviewed and make your self a candidate that distinguishes from the others. If it's not that, then they are just weird... llol

think of exterior the field. decrease people's lawns, wash people's autos, stroll their canine. everybody is so busy now that they've self belief in others to do the failings that they might't make time for. FYI - lots of places draw back from youthful adolescents by using fact there are such lots of regulations on what number hours and whilst they might artwork you. this is extra advantageous in case you detect a "filler" form activity (as defined above) till you're sixteen.

well, it could have something to do with your availability or transportation
if youre a high school student, that keeps you from working during the day in the week.
also, they may now want to hire you if they think you'll be leaving for college sometime in the near future.

I think most of the places you mentioned require you to be 18.It would not hurt to ask when you go back to talk to the manager. That could be it also. Are you applying and that is all.Go back and chat with them let them know you are interested.
