Is there anyone out there working for a pharmaceutical company that might need a lab assistant. I post raw materials as they came to the lab. Kept up the standards, retains and the folders for all the materials. Put out materials for the chemists to test. I did testing myself also and kept a lab notebook. I also did test in the QA Lab of the batches that were being made to make sure they met specifications (etc.).

I hope you can generate some leads... your job is very specific and I suspect you'll have difficulty finding something comparable. However, if you're willing to relocate, you certainly increase your chances. I'd go to Yahoo Finance and use the
Stock Screener to find all the publicly traded pharmaceutical companies in the United States. With that list, you can start mailing your resumes to them. You'll also want to research private companies... check out your local Yellow pages and expand to other metropolitan areas from there. Keep your numbers high... aim to mail out 20 resumes daily. In addition, call the 800 number of those pharmaceuticals and ask for the Lab Technicians or Lab Managers... try to get to someone who can hire you or recommend you. Just introduce yourself and ask if they could use an experienced Lab Assistant. Good luck!
