My house has been on the market since Halloween. We have not had one offer until today. It is listed at $222,000 and the first offer came in at $218,000. Should I waste my time and try to negotiate and risk losing the buyer or just accept the offer. I have 3 kids and a wife in a 3 room house - we need to sell !

Because of stock option fraud? If the company continues to make good profits, can they fight the de-listing and bounce back, or should I sell before it's too late, although I will be losing money anyway? It's a small investment so I can take a risk if there's much hope for it.

I have a good job as a regional trainer. I travel 3000ml a month within a 400ml radus, fixing diagnostic equipment and training techs how to use it. I skipped 2 promotions in getting this position. It's fun and varied and pays the bills.
Up until I broke my leg on a business trip. I've been out on disability since Thnxgvn weekend and I'm getting apprehensive about returning to my 10-12hr days. Then, outta the blue I get a bounceback on a local reporter job I applied for 6 months ago. If they offer me a comparable salary, I am very tempted to accept. My hubbie and I are looking to start a family soon and even as the working parent I don't think I can psychologically be away from my kids 12hrs a day.
I haven't been offered anything yet, so I may just be getting ahead of myself, but is it selfish to want to spend more time with my family while doing a job I might actually love instead of one I just like? I love working with computers and teaching, but I love writing, too.

I am a 17 yr.old high school Junior. I live with my mother(cp) ,stepfather and four siblings. My father(ncp) claims me and one sister on his tax returns. He got this in the divorce settlement . He does not provide 50 % of my support. I have been working part-time for almost a year. I am starting to work on my financial aid package for college and file my first tax return. question is since he claims me as a dependent do I not get any refund since he claims me. Doesn't seem fair that he gets the deduction and I get nothing ( should be use to it by now )He refuses to NOT claim me and I will probably get stiffed on the financial aid too. I just need to know what to expect.

I want to do mediation, but I have no law degree. I have a bachelor of science degree in something unrelated (computer science). I live in New York City. I want to know if I need a law degree or can I just take a certification class, pass a test, and be able to be hired as a mediator. As for what kind of mediation, I am figuring, for civil court cases, or something. Also, does anyone know where I can find out more information on this job and what it takes to be hired?
