My house is going into forclosure and I would like to just sell it before it actually does, but I don't know what I can do to sell it fast. I am moving out next month, Febuary and I need to sell it by then. I know there are companys that will buy your house from you and I tried one of them here in Missouri, but they turned me down without even looking at the house. I could just sell it by owner, but I don't know how. I just really need help. Any suggestions would do great! I live in Blue Springs Missouri.

Yes, the limit is $600, so I know I can go up to that amount each billing cycle. However, I've been told that a low debt to balance ratio looks good and that you should never go over 1/3 of the cards limit because it looks like you're spending just to spend. On the other hand, I've heard that you shouldnt spend too little either. The lady at my credit union says that my spending history looks good and I'm on the right track and my credit score is increasing. What exactly increases my credit score and how can I make it go up faster? How do I know what spending range to stay in on my card?

Every time I've used their service (which is really Telaflora) they mess up the order. I ordered flowers for my sister for two days before Christmas, and it took them 1 1/2 days to deliver them, even though I called in the morning to order. Then they were crummy looking. When I called to complain, they gave me the standard "We'll take your complaint and see what can be done" which I've always found to be is nothing, the girl told me that florists pay T.F. to be first in line for referrals. The florist they sent my order to was 14 miles from my sisters house, where as she has two florists who deal in T.F. in her town! Today was the last straw. I called in some flowers for my daughter's birthday and the florist called me to say they didn't have that arrangement, and then confided in me that the 60.00 I paid to T.F. is only paying for a 34.00 arrangement! But, on the T.F. web page, they showed I purchased one for 45.00. RIP OFF. I'm not using them again, and am telling Lane Brynt

Like I heard if you have a master's or a doctorate, it doesn't matter if the job requires that, you can still get a higher salary because you have more education. Is that true?

I live in California and currently live in an apartment. But with the birth of my daughter, we need another room. The places we have applied for so far don't seem to be interested in renting to us. Should I just give up?

Is it a waste of money to learn how to make crafts yourself? Is it cheaper to make your own candles, or lotions versus selling them and owning a business?

So, my partner and I have our EIN number. Just no articles of incorporation. We faxed the paperwork to the appropriate number which is the last instruction that we got. We told the state the percentages owned, etc. and now need to open a bank account. Can't do that without the articles of incorporation... How do we get them? Make em up and submit them to the state? Wait for them to be sent to us? We used an online company to incorporate us, so we don't have an attorney to ask, just thought someone here might know.... Thanks if you do!

Now, I am enrolled at another college in a one year associates program and have transfered some of my credits from the other college to be used towards my degree. By, the my college's standards, I am a sophomore. Can I claim the Hope credit or should I go for the lifetime learning credit. What is the difference?

I've been having a rough time...was unemployed for 6 months, got a horrible customer service job for a month and was let go due to "failure to meet minimum requirements," ie, not b.s. ing people enough. I'm still unemployed, and having a terrible time figuring out what to do now.
I have a B.A. in English, but that doesn't do anything in the small, economically depressed area I live in. I have no money to move. I can't go to graduate school yet. My mother will kill me if I volunteer somewhere because "it doesn't pay anything and won't help you get where you want to be."
What kind of job should I get? Most of the places around here won't hire me because I am either overqualified or underqualified (some jobs require master's degrees). There isn't that much out here, either. I feel so screwed, and part of me wishes I hadn't gone to college. What do I do?
P.S--I worked in the college library for 3 years. That's the majority of my work experience.

Me best friend points out that Wal-Mart does the same thing that all other companies in the USA do which outsource labor and products to sell them cheaper here. HE claims it's on a larger scale, but Wal-Mart is no worse than any other business gaint! He's says us Godless liberals still buy and wear products made in swaets shops, and that the common person can't have clothes tailor made in the USA! does he have a point?

I work for a woman who is a complete know-it-all. She loves telling EVERYONE what to do. It is her way or the highway. She doesn't realize how many people she offends on a daily basis. She works 7 days a week and thinks of crap to keep people busy. We all have our own jobs and enough to do. I don't really know what motivates her, but she is completely type A out of control. I just wonder if she ever looks in the mirror and wonders why the hell she is doing the crap she does. What a lonely life. She has about one friend, no other outside relationships, lives 3000 miles from her family and thrives and being the master of the universe on the job. AAAARRRGGGG!

I moved from CA to GA in 2005 and bought my new home in GA in 2005. My CA property didnt sell until June of 2006. I incurred no income in CA but I did pay more than $3k in property taxes and $4m in transfer taxes. My questions are... 1) Since I don't have CA income do I need to file a tax return b/c I sold the property in the state. I applied my homestead exemption so I owe no gains. 2) Can I write off the transfer tax on a state or fed. level? 3) I had two mortgages and had to cash out my 401k to pay for the CA property (I relocated for work). Is there anyway to write off my loss that I incurred from paying to mortgages? 4) Any help in helping me reduce the 10% penalty plus taxes on the $15k I pulled out of my 401k? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

I have recieve mixxed opinions on this from people. I have 4 credit cards currently. 2 of them have balance transfer cards which I am not accuring interest on. 1 of them is a card that I keep a low balance ,on but dont want to close out because it is an airline miles card. The 4th card is a card where interst just kicked in on ( originally a zero interst transer card). The balance is about 2k and I have the abilitiy to just pay that card off this month.

My question is --should I close the account out when I eliminate the balance, or does that hurt your credit?

What should I watch out for and when can I evict someone after late payments? What forms could I have the tenant sign to keep me protected. I hear about tenants that went to court and won and the Landlord can pay up to $20000 in court fees. I'm 23 and just starting off fresh and hope I don't have to run into these kind of issues. I just bought a remodeled condo and its ready to be rented out in March.

I input my taxes into HR Block and Citizen Tax, and got back two different quotes---with an over $1000 dollar difference. There's a multitude of tax sites that give free service if your income is under $52,000 (I think). I am curious to hear of personal experiences/bad experiences with the different sites out there!
