They have a nasty reputation in the collection business. I used to pull credit reports for mortgage clients, so I am very familiar with nco.
In 2004, they were fined by the FTC for unfair collection practices. Here is a link if you care to read it...

But yes, they will report you to all 3 major bureaus.
