Free would be preferable, but I'm willing to pay if necessary.

The IRS website does not have them. The SS website does, but because of a discrepancy in an address, the site won't let us download it until we verify the correct address.

To verify the address takes 3+ business days. My friend needs to make available the W-2's to his employees by Wednesday.

I cannot find a fillable form either - the irs and ssa websites do not provide a FILLABLE form - is you can find it - can you include the link in your answer?

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awhNm

(w-2/w+2)+1=w+1/w+3 (w-2) / (w+2) + (w+2)/(w+2) = (w+1)/(w+3) (w - 2 + w + 2) / (w + 2) = (w + 1) / (w + 3) (2w) / (w + 2) = (w + 1) / (w + 3) Cross multiply: (2w)(w + 3) = (w + 1)(w + 2) 2w² + 6w = w² + 3w + 2 w² + 3w - 2 = 0 Solve with the quadratic formula w = [-3 ± √(9 - (-8)) ] / 2 w = -3/2 ± √17/2

All IRS forms are free. Go to this website: http://search.irs.gov/web/query.html?col=allirs&charset=utf-8&qp=&qs=-Wct%3A%22Internal+Revenue+Manual%22&qc=&qm=0&rf=0&oq=&qt=Form+W-2&search.x=20&search.y=4
Then select the 2007 Form W-2 option (the first one) and you will get an Adobe Acrobat file with a blank W-2 in it.

For the W-3 form go to this website: http://search.irs.gov/web/query.html?col=allirs&charset=utf-8&qp=&qs=-Wct%3A%22Internal+Revenue+Manual%22&qc=&qm=&rf=&oq=&qt=From+W-3
and download the Adobe Acrobat file (the first choice).

The second choice will give you the instructions that you need.
All these forms are from the offical IRS website. I was able to open the files with no problems.

(w-2)/(w+2) + 1 = (w+1)/(w+3) (w-2)/(w+2) + (w+2)/(w+2) = (w+1)/(w+3) 2w / (w + 2) = (w+1)/(w+3) cross multiply: 2w(w+3) = (w+2)(w+1) 2w^2 + 6w = w^2 + 3w + 2 w^2 + 3w - 2 = 0 doesn't factor==> use the QF w = [-3 +/- sqrt(9 +8)]/2 w = -3/2 +/- sqrt(17) / 2
