Well, I sent in a job application last week. Its been 1 week and they still have not received it, yet the town i sent the application to is only 1 hr away. Is that normal?
Also, how would i fax it to them? I have the fax number, but do i have to make sure someone is in the office at the time Im faxing it? How do i actually go about faxing the papers, also?...

If all three of us earned money under this 10-99 can I turn around and 10-99 them for the wages that they earned so they can pay their part. Or do I need a tax number or something.

I work in an office building with about 30 women. I share a particular office with two other women. The air intake just so happens to be in our office so we can't hear each other. There is another woman that has her desk right outside of our office. She always slams our door shut without asking us or telling us whenever we have to talk to each other. It is embarrassing because the whole hall can hear it. We don't talk to her or do anything to get in her way. She also throws huffy fits if she has to wait for the copy machine, like a child. I'm not a confrontational person. I have never even said more than three words to her before. How do I get her to mind her manners?

I'm updating my resume and I'm unsure on how to include a couple of things that I believe should be included in the experience section of my resume. (I am a college student with very little work experience and want to include all I can that seems relevant.)

First update:
A guy subcontracted me to help him out with a computer programming project using Visual Basic.Net. He was hired by someone else (I don't know who) to write the program, and I helped him out with some of the coding for the project and received pay.

Second update:
I was given a few hours of raw unedited video and was hired to turn it into a sales video. I captured the video to a computer, edited it by only including the parts that I felt best represented the products being advertised, added transition effects, accented it with music, etc...

Both of these additions to my resume were freelance work and I only worked for a single person (not a company) for each of them.

My former employer RBS insurance will not realease my P45 after i left the company at the beginning of December. I resigned in the beginning of November but because of the shambles of a HR department they have not sent my P45 and will not despite me ringing them at least 3 times a week. When I call they have no record of me resigning or my phone calls.

Could someone tell if I can legally demand thet they send m P45 now.

I just purchased my first home this year, and I have been told that I can deduct my property taxes paid. I did not opt to pay them through my mortgage company. How do I find out how much I've paid?

My company is now starting to pay overtime even though i am salary paid at the end of each month. But they have said that if you work overtime at the beginning of the month, ie 12hrs x time and a half and then have 2 days off sick at the end of the month i will not be paid my overtime rate because i have not worked enough hours in that month.I will loose a half days pay in this example.Is this legal?

I am single, 3 mths pregnant, and currently on medicaid. I have been offered a job that pays $12 an hour but has no health benefits. Will I still be able to recieve medicaid with such a high pay rate or will I have to get my own health insurance?
