I'm updating my resume and I'm unsure on how to include a couple of things that I believe should be included in the experience section of my resume. (I am a college student with very little work experience and want to include all I can that seems relevant.)

First update:
A guy subcontracted me to help him out with a computer programming project using Visual Basic.Net. He was hired by someone else (I don't know who) to write the program, and I helped him out with some of the coding for the project and received pay.

Second update:
I was given a few hours of raw unedited video and was hired to turn it into a sales video. I captured the video to a computer, edited it by only including the parts that I felt best represented the products being advertised, added transition effects, accented it with music, etc...

Both of these additions to my resume were freelance work and I only worked for a single person (not a company) for each of them.

You could add this to resume under Freelance Experience in computer programming and video editing. No need to go into detail unless you are asked about it in an interview.

"As subcontractor, wrote code in Visual Basic.net."

"Edited sales video for (company name), added music and other effects; and converted video to (whatever type) of file."

That pretty much sums it up!
