death,house,no will,now what?

My mother purchased a house with the help of my ex-
ex is no where on the deed or any paper work pertaining to the home
ex is a loan officer w/own mortgage company
mom left me as beneficiery on everything except home(as far as I know)
ex says he'll handle everything w/house has keys ect.
what should i do?
Is there a way that the house could be mine?

I have been laid off for over 7 months now and about to miss my first mortgage payment what should I do?

Why is it when bank interest rates go up, savings rates don't?

Am I being cynical or is there a genuinely economic reason for borrowing rates to go up the minute they press the button, when savings seem to rise like lead balloons?

file bankruptcy?? My ex has left me with 3 kids and a house and car payment and credit card payments, The courts have ordered that he pay child support but i havent received anything in over a year... If I file bankruptcy will i be able to keep my home car. Will i be able to sell my house soon and keep what extra money it is worth... ??

What are the pro and cons for raising the minimum wage?

1.couple of statistics only 5% of the working population make minimun wage.
2.If raising it say $2hr is good then why not raise it $15hr so every american can make a decent living.

bankruptcy?

I am going threw alot of financial issues since my ex has left me with all of the bills and 3 children to raise. If I file bankrupcy what will happen. When an interviewer asks, "Do you have any questions?"?

After he/she describes the position and gives an overview of the company - what else is left to inquire about? It's not like you can ask what the pay is (which is probably the most desirable information). Usually, I'm inclined to say, "no, you've covered everything". But I know that's not the ideal response. Suggestions?

Buy and Hold even when share price drop. Will i make a loss?

If i were to buy 100 shares of XYZ @ $10 each and hold.
And the price drops to $5 each.

Noting that i did not sell the shares but rather just hold on to it,
will i make a "LOSS" of $5 on each share totalled being $500?

or

there won't be any change. Except for the new price of my share.
