My wife is a 2nd grade teacher with a masters degree in education who has become burned out. I want to start looking for an alternative career she may be interested in that takes advantage of her educations and skills. In Singapore, I brought a AIA medishield. 7 weeks ago i was hospitalised. After government grant deduction, my payable bill is less than $600. I want to claim the medishield insurance.It sent me letter saying that my claim is approved but the amount is less than minimum $2000 payable and so it cannot pay the amount for me. I could not find my hard copy policy contract that stated that. What can i do to verify? Who should i approach?

I'm planning to import product from other country. Do i need to get a license custom broker to process the release of my shipments? Can't I do it myself? Because back in Asia where i came from i do it myself process all the paperwork for the release of my goods. Here in California do we really need to get a custom broker?

Silver Certificates were used for a time in the United States as a form of paper currency. They were produced in response to silver agitation by citizens angered by the "Crime of 1873", which placed the United States on the gold standard. The certificate was matched to the same amount of value in silver coinage. For example, one fifty dollar Silver Certificate = fifty silver dollars.
I have a five dollar bill from 1934. The first $5 Silver Certificates were issued with a blue seal and serial numbers along with a blue numeral 5 on the left side of the obverse. Does anyone know if this is of any value ?
