If you are speaking about people who work in the USA for a non-union company here is your answer: she can try to sue but it is a waste of time. She has no case. Employers can fire people for ANY REASON at any time as long as it is not due to illegal discrimination/retaliation.
If you are speaking about a union company in the USA then the contract most likely requires an investigation and some sort of grievance procedure. She needs to speak with her union rep as soon as possible if this is the case.

How long have your daughter worked for the company? If it is within the probation period, then there's little luck.

If she's been working for the company for a long time, then the company can not fire her without investigating the issue and finding out who is right or wrong. Even that if your daughter is wrong in the case, they should have given her verbal and writting warning, and provide some disciplines and even training. They can only fire an employee after all the measures stated in the company's policy have been done and firing is their last option.

If the fight is involved two parties, two should be disciplined, not only one, unless one didn't fight back and got hurt. You may want to find out more details from your daughter to see how the blow out was happening and who initiated or has involved before wasting time to bring it to the court.
