Hi, I am 13 years old and I know exactly what I'm going to do. It's not that I want to. But I feel as if I HAve to be something dealing in Criminal justice. I'm not being pressured into it by a friend or anything but something inside me is telling me I've got to do this. I need to speak for those who can't. It's like I have a natural pull towards discovering the truth. Has this happend to anyone else? My mom says I'm too young to know what i'll be and my boyfriend gets mad when i bring it up because he says it's a dangerous career and he'd be worried about me 24/7. Please don't say "Oh your too young to decide." or "everyone goes through a police officer stage." This is more than that! I feel as if I have to be a lawyer or police officer or even a F.B.I agent. This happen to anyone else? I just wanted to know if this will work out for me...

Was turned down for a small loan under 4k with an excellent credit rating, and make plenty of money to qualify. Was rejected for reason above. Maybe should have just forked out the small amount myself for the truck!

I was recruited a few months ago and got my license and was promised that even if I only have 2 appointments a week I would make $2000/month.......so far it's not happening. I found that my "circle" of friends and family are running out very quickly and that primericas products are kinda pricey when compared to others. also, I go to the meetings because they said that's the only way I'll learn, but I haven't learned a thing about selling insurance or other products. All I hear at the meetings is how great primerica is, what a good opportunity it is, how its so important to get recruits and how much more money I can make if I get more licenses. Kinda like a big pep rally. I'd rather be home with my son. Any comments on experience with primerica either positive or negative would be helpful. I have no money and I have a 10 month old to care for & I would like to know if I am wasting my time. Thanks!

We have a home for sale, it was under contract. The buyers agent was the buyers daughter. They signed the contract stating they would get a residental loan and put $1,000 in escrow. The residental loan was approved and we were going to close, until the title company found out that they were going to rent out the home and told them that they could not close with a residental loan. They tried to get the correct type of loan to no avail. We gave her a 3 week extension, she agreed to pay all daily interest during that time. Finally they were denied for the right type of loan and now they want their escrow deposit back and do not want to pay the daily interest, and I am out 3 weeks time and have to have the escrow tied up because they wont release it. She even had the nerve to say that she would split it with us if we gave her the pool table in our house!!!! Please read my other ?s for more details. What would you do in this situation?

my bank transfered 500USD instead of 500GBP to an account i have in China from my UK GBP account. I asked them to call back the dollars and resend in pounds or face the wrath of the financial ombusman which they did. .. however some months later the dollars are still in my dollar account at the bank of china. how long before the dollars become mine legally?

I am beginning to get a paint-your-own-pottery business set up, and I am trying to this of a clever name. Three names that I really like, but are already taken are:
Art & Soul (play on 'heart and soul')
Hands On Pottery (like hands on)
Crackpots (my favorite one, play on the word crackpot meaning a whack job of a person)

For example, a house costs £200K. Person 1 gets a mortgage for £90K. Person 2 gets a mortgage for £110K. They pool together these two mortgages to pay the total £200K for the one house. Is this a viable option or do banks insist that only one mortgage can be valid on any one house?

I am looking for a new job. I assume that the traditional two weeks' notice is still the standard time to tell one's current employer one is leaving before starting a new job, but I'm not sure. One the one hand, I don't want to skip out on my current job earlier than is considered customary, but I also don't want to give any more advance notice than I have to, as I'd like to leave as soon as possible. My current employers often try to take advantage of my time and my skills, and I have a feeling that they will try to convince me to stay on longer than two weeks because they don't want to be inconvenienced having to go with my position being unfilled for any length of time. And if I'm offered a job, I'd like to know what to tell my new employers as to how soon I could start without putting the new job off for longer than is customary. Thanks in advance.
