Every time myself and my friend go to the bank, people start screaming when we get our guns out and ask for all of the money - obviously this attracts unwanted attention from the police which is the last thing we want. Has anybody got any tips?

i am paying off a debt which worked otu for me. they wanted 1500+ but i went to court denied the charges and now they sent me a notice stating they will match my payment dollar for dolllar b4 it goes to court. im about to drive there after work to pay the 750. I want them to put in writing that they will report to all 3 beuras that its paid as agreed and not "settled" anyone have a form i can print out and have them sign that they will agree to mark paid as agreed and not settled?

I've trying to find out info about the civil service exam in NYC.... im trying to get my foot into the psych field, and i've been finding alot of listing for state run facilities, which requires that your name is available from the civil service eligability list... i've searched the website and tried making some phone calls, but noone gives me a clear answer

My husband and I met as neighbors. We became engaged in 12/04 and in 01/05, we (& our entire block) were sent papers from IDOT indicating that our homes were under eminent domain due to a corridar connector. I tried to sell the 2nd house but no-one was interested because of the eminent domain issue. I appealed to IDOT for a financial hardship that they have placed on us and they granted an early buyout. It will be several months before it takes place. They indicate that they will offer fair market value based on an appraisal and title searches, etc. I have heard so many horror stories on eminent domain!
Do you think I will get a good honest offer? Should we be compensated for our losses? We're having trouble renting out the house because people don't want to live there month-to-month. Now, we have 2 mortgages, an empty house, and the eminent domain issue. What's the worse case scenrio? Your thoughts or experiences with eminent domain are greatly appreciated.

I have a collection account for about 10 years now. Different collectors have been calling me throughout the years. Recently, there is a new collection agency calling. I thought that after 7 years it was to be removed from my credit report. I know that it was my bill to begin with, but after all this time and wasted phone calls, I thought that I finally beat the system....j'k.

I discovered mold in my books on a bookshelf and other personal items I stored in the basement and I dont know if I am responsible to replace these items or if it is my landlords responsibility to maintain a moist free environment for my items or if it is my responsibility for having put them there.Should I have access to my basement and ability to store items safely without worrying about this kind of thing from happening?I realize there are health factors involved as well.

I am a person with a disability (I am in a wheelchair as a result of being born with Muscular Dystrophy). I have a college degree (BS in Public Administration) and a high GPA (3.388). Unfortunatly I have limited work expirence because I am 1) limited in what jobs I physically can do and 2) many employers do not want to hire a person with a disability. So as a result I am stuck in the loop of needing more expirence to get a job but obviously needing a job to get expirence. I was curious if anyone had any advice on what I should do in hopes of gaining employment despite my obvious disability? I have tried a state employment agency but many of the clients they work with suffer from developmental disorders but are able to work in a warehouse, or grocery store. I I am looking for a chance to prove I can be a valued asset to any company that gives me a chance to be a proffessiononal.
