If you are UK just get the pack from the Post Office, it costs a few quid and is legally binding - I know cos my dad had one. It tells you what to write and how to word it.

You can get an atty to do it if it's really complex.If it's simple, use the will prep software available in any office supply store (Staples, etc).

I used computer software, printed it out, had it notorized, put it in a drawer. $35.
It helps if you aren't trying to do anything too complicated. If you are, get a lawyer.
