You have just been called by some character from some far-flung call-centre at the other end of the earth whose dialect and understanding of English - let alone coloquial English is such that having a conversation to ascertain what he/she wants is proving to be very hard work and when you enquire as to what this representative is called - his/her name turns out to contain most of the letters in the alphabet and is completely unpronounceable for the purposes of reference back to the conversation you are now having to endure (which is probably why) and finally manage to understand that they want to remind you about some bill or other.

They call at 8.30 in the morning or earlier, call you by your first name and babble on in this psudo-English to remind you about what you already know.

Isn't about time that by law that each one of these blasted call-centres was forced to have a Completely Unnecesary Nuisance Telecommunications department that you could inform them that they were such ?

I will be purchasing a house in one year. I believe long term mortgage rates are around their low. I am concerned about where those rates will be a year from now. Is there a way I can agree to borrow from a lender and lock in today's mortgage rates?

I think my neighbors daughter and and her husband committed insurance fraud with a truck they say got stolen. The daughter says it was the husband, but I suspect both took part because they have money problems. My neighbor, of course, thinks it was just the husband, even though her daughter has been nothing but trouble. I know their last name but not their insurance company. It just makes me mad because they just got 16000.00 bucks. Oh, and the husbands mother also knew.

I am a recent college grad working as a secretary in a college academic department. This allows me the chance to get free grad school and I am currently working toward an MBA. My concern is that once I have my MBA in about 2 years, I won't really have any valuable work experience to apply to jobs in the field, only work within a college administrative setting. Do you think this will put me at a disadvantage when I apply for jobs?

How's everyone doing? Ever since I started my new job 3 months ago, there's something that's been bothering me. I share an office with the same co-worker. We are both under the same title at the office, but the problem is: everytime there's a project to be done, he is always giving the project to my co-worker like if I don't exist. What should I do? I have more experience than this person, and also a degree which my co-worker doesn't have. I am already considering to get another job.
