I am 17 (last year in sixth form) and I am looking to set up a bank account but have no idea which is the best for me, all I really want is a card to get money easily and a decent interest rate, not bothered about offers or internet banking, which seems like the best account based on this? If you need it, I can give you more information too.

No websites please. they all require you to buy something or enter a credit card # for a "free" trial of this and that. I know there's a number you can call for each of the three bureaus and it's completely free. I've done it once before, i just lost the number

I hadn't eaten anything for breakfast today. I noticed my boss put his ham sandwich in the fridge, so I lurked by the fridge until he left. Then when my boss was out of sight, I tip-toed to the refrigerator, pulled it open, then opened his lunch bag. I unwrapped his sandwich and took half of it. As I was about 3/4 done with one half, he walked back into the lunch room, and I was basically caught red-handed eating his sandwich. I told him that I thought he brought it for me for being a stellar worker. He told me that today will be my last day for insubordination. I then made a V with my fingers, stuck my tongue in between them, bulged my eyes out, and flicked my tongue in and out with rapid oscillations; the motion of my tongue could have been modeled as a sinusoidal function with high amplitude and higher frequency. He then called security. My question is do I have a lawsuit for malpractice? What gives?

Okay, after almost 20 yrs of being a licensed insurance person, I quit my job. Lots of reasons but the biggest is that I HATE INSURANCE. Now I have no health insurance for my family and could get another job in insurance quick if I want the health coverage BUT... I want to change careers. I dont know whether to pursue becoming a dog trainer(I adore dogs!) or pursue something I am sort of good at, which is creative writing...I cant decide what to do and the longer I sit doing nothing the more I get depressed. Any advice?

My lease expires Feb. 1st 2007, and I'm leaving in middle of Nov. '06 and its possible the landlords will rent it out as of Dec. 1st. If they do then am I still liable for the last 2 months rent under Ohio Law or can I just not pay anything as they're not going to lose any money by having another tenant in place? I know I signed a lease for the 12 month period; but how can they make me pay when someone has come along and occupied for the months I was leasving open? They showed my apt. today (middle of Oct.), and I'll be paying for the month of November also in full even though I'm moving into a house around the 11th. Doesnt sound legal to me to be profiting twice on the same apt.? I know I'll lose my deposit but thats only $260 as opposed to the $1078 I will still owe for Dec & Jan. Thoughts/Suggestions please!
Thanks!

The last time money was sent to the financial company was for the money deducted in January. Is that illegal? What are the consequences? What can I do as an employee?

I resigned due to i was going to be terminated anyways. I wanted to secure my employees benefits. Also i was confused at the time i resigned due to family separation. My wife & I split up due to her 31 yr. old son living with us and not working. He's a parolee, who's been out of prison for nine months and still has no job.
y wife always sides with her son any time there's an altercation between us.Our seventeen yr. old daughter also went against me in this incident and disobeyed me when i instructed her not to leave in her car that we had bought for her. She was leaving with my wife and pablo(her son) towards town. The next morning i was in a company vehicle and i went to my daughter's high school to retrieve her car keys due to not coming last night and for disobeying me yesterday i told her not to go anywhere in her vehicle. Well, the police got involved when my daughter called ahead of time before i arrived to the school. My company found out and that's why i resigned.

I've been out of college for 2 years and seemingly all my $$ goes into paying student loans & other bills. I'm looking to increase what I have. What's the best way to start off investing $500-$1,000? The stock market isn't doing that well & I'm looking for something that will almost guarantee an increase. Does anyone have any great advice?

I need some advice with the following:
My husband and I are planning to buy a new house that hasn't been built in Houston, Texas.
The cost of the house is $230,000.00. They are "giving us" $10,000.00 in incentives, but they are asking for $10,000.00 as earnest money. Everybody that I've ask about it, tells us that the amount is just outrageous.
What do you think?

I live in the US and she is in Romania for one year. Since I am the breadwinner, I would like to be able to contribute to this account from the States, so that she would have access to these funds. Is this possible, perhaps with an international bank of some sort? Or am I stuck with paying high Western Union fees? Thanks!
