Hello,

My father has been running his own aluminum/vinyl siding business for almost 20 years. He has always hired his own employees. However, my Father is Manic Depressive, and he will go through times where he wont work, his people quit and etc.

Well I am planning to help him with the business and eventually take over. There are many aspects of the way he conducts business that aren't the best. I do plan to implement change. He had asked me the question though, "what would you do, sub contract, or hire your own employees". I have kicked around the idea.

I am not sure, and I was curious to what specifically are the advantages, and dis-advantages to sub contracting, versus hiring your own employees.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm not allow to write "index put" only "equity put".
It look to me that individual stock in more volatile.
Index reflect the average of the all market, so it shuld be less volatile.

I own a small engine repair business. I'm 15 years old. I have a DBA, tax identification number and everything. So I'm official. My business right is very, very, very basic. It's basicly the outside garage and I dont advetise yet. So I really havnt "started the business up" so to speak. I need to. I need help. So I'm looking for free grants (none of the "order this book" type of thing) to help me start-up. I've looked everywhere. I went to grants.gov and cfda.org or something but I dont know what grant I'm eligible for, or I dont know what I'm looking for and more. Someone out there please help me, and not just by telling me what website to go to, but please talk me through explain it to me. Small Engine Repair is my biggest dream!!!! I have Cystic Fibrosis so I just want to make sure that dream comes true. Thank you to everyone who answers this.

My father in law collects $1437 per month social security. He has no other income. He has acrrued credit card debt of close to $18000 during the past 4 years for his living expenses. We are just now finding out about this. He has no money left over at the end of the month to pay on these debts. Do the creditors have the ability in the state of Virginia to garnish his social security. Any other thoughts? Bankruptcy is not an option. He has no assets. Does not own a home, has no cash in bank and his car was purchaed for $800. Thanks.

my house burnt to the ground a week and a half ago, I was out of town and we lost everything we owned except some clothing. The fire marshal came out that night and told me that it was suspicious but the cause would probably never be determined. When I went in to see the insurance company they treated me like some kind of criminal, here I am having lost everything that I own. By the time I left I was just beside myself, they wanted to dig into every aspect of my life, they wanted me to go to the gambling boat and get a print out of how much money I have spent there. And they just kept saying, do you see why this doesn't look good for you!!! Can they make me do things like that? They twisted around everything I said, THEN to top it off, he said that it would take a while to settle my claim becuase it was suspicious, when asked how long, he said, " well it just depends on how much you turn in" Like if I don't turn in all my personal property they will pay the claim!!

Okay My word documents duplicate but with a $~ or ~/ something like that and other icons too. They are also always shaded as if the properties are set to hidden.
And in My WINDOWS folder it's even worse there is a list of them in blue and it seems like the list is getting bigger. They're titled like this $NtUninstallWMCSetup$ or $NtUninstallKB922616$ . I have run Nuker Spyware and WINDOWS Defender and it found some things but the rest of that stuff is still there. This is how I got the computer and actually it's a DELL labtop. All these problem files are always set to hidden. I also need to know how to disable the touch pad because I use a mouse. How do I find and get rid of this bug?????????????????????????

I have worked in Logistics most of my adult life, shipping, receiving, forklift driver, and truck driver. At age 44, I don't want to be on the road anymore, and am too old to work in a warehouse. So I'm back in school, and plan to have an Associates Degree in about a year, emphasis on English, and I will have Spanish 1, 2 and 3 by then, so I hope to be (almost) fluent. Do you think I can get a decent job with this? Or will I get nothing without a Bachelor's?

If you purchase a time share and wish to sell it and the only way to do this is to sell it at a loss or give it away, can you claim what you originally paid for the time share, which is deeded, as a loss on Schedule D. The deed has been registered in the state in which the time share is located. We have used the time share for our own use, and have not rented it.

I am trying to pay them back but they will not give me an address to send payment. They are now notifying me saying this is the last day to make payment. I am afraid if I don't make payment what can happen. I do not have a credit card to pay this on so my only option is to send a payment. What can they do to me?

I need to get my house interior painted. I bought all the paint and supplies, but I do not have the time to paint my 1700 square foot home with vaulted ceilings. I want to get the house painted in the next few months because my wife might get pregnant soon and can't be around fumes.

I am a professional home theater installer. I do custom plasma installs, speaker installs and all the wiring for the house. I can ask for up to $100 an hour for my services. Do you think I should post a listing on craigslist asking to trade my home theater services for a painter/painters? Maybe I can work for someone for 8 hours for a day or two (or three?) and have someone paint my house?

Do you think its possible to trade services like this? Has anyone done that before? I want someone to do a good job!

A state I used to live in finally noticed I haven't been paying taxes for the last ten years. Now they want back taxes, interest and penalties for the past seven years. They do not accept a drivers liscense, property title, voter registration, vehicle registration or insurance or a letter from my pastor as proof that I don't live there, but won't tell me what they will accept as proof. Any other ideas other than paying a few years income?
