You appear to be earning as much as a teacher. Wish I was earning that. Stop whining and get the dinner on.

I don't know a cleaner who can earn 53K a year, but if there is then good one them, as Im sure this isn't pretty work and the hours are hell. Stop moaning about your situation and get off your butt and change it. Nobody helped the street cleaner so I'm not going to help you.

you get 25,000 a year for being a kitchen assistant? that's £500 a week! and what street cleaner gets £53,000 a year? that's over £1000 a week!!!! Kitchen assistants get about £5.50 an hour and street cleaners not much more. What planet are you living on?

Pay depends on how many people are willing to do the job. If no one wants to do that job, the person doing it needs some extra compensation to do it. So... wanna work as a street cleaner? So long as you dont mind the dirt, the smell, the hard life rain or shine, or the social status you are most welcome to switch jobs.

It depends...if the guy has been working there all his life and shown loyalty to the organisation and never missed a single day, and has got promoted into that position - as opposed to some kid, who has just left school and thinks he knows it all - and is king of the universe - after two years on a poxy college course.

Then yes definatley.
