If I had an agency work on it? On average, or "ranges" would also be helpful. Thanks.

I just read this Yahoo article http://biz.yahoo.com/brn/061009/
Titled: 6 (worthless) excuses for not saving money

And I realized - I don't save nearly enough as I should. Are you pretty good about saving $$$? And if you are, how do you keep from not spending it?

I need help/ideas for raising some money. I know someone who was nominated for the student ambassador group people to people, but does not have the money to even dream of going on their trip. She would love to go to Australia (the trip they chose her for), but her family could never afford to let her go there.

Can anyone help?? We thought of some ideas, but I figured I would also ask our Questions community for help as well.

We came up with- putting some of her allowance money away per week, talking to her church, writing a letter to different businesses in our town.

I make $3000 and I pay rent for $1000 each mount. My mom lives alone she makes about $3000 and she pays rent for 600. Do you think it is a good idea to move in and buy a condo? My payment is going to be $ 2500. Thank you for your support

I had an interview about 8 weeks ago for a part-time position. Two weeks later I called and they thanked me for calling to inquire about the job, but that they had put a slight delay in the interview process to hire for more pertinent positions, but that they would finish the interviews up soon. About two weeks after that I emailed asking again about the job. I received a reply that I was still being considered for the position and that it hadn't been filled yet. They send emails when the position has been filled and I haven't received one so I"m assuming the job hasn't been filled by anyone yet.

I dont' want to continue to pester the lady I had the interview with, but do I contact her again. If so, how should I contact her this time and what should I write/say? Please give some advice I really dont' want to mess up the opportunity if they are still considering me! Thanks everyone!

Hello. Long story short, I know new grads looking for work have it difficult. I went to a good school in New York City and graduated in January of this past year with a Business Undergraduate degree. Since then I been trying to find a respectable, full-time position with benefits and a salary of around 30k. Nothing too big, and definitely not asking for much.

I been on the job sites monster.com, yahoo! hot jobs, aol/career builder site, craigslist.org, and recently regionalhires.com. I know some people have mentioned to try out a temp agency. I applied to around 10 good ones in the City and only got one call back.

Basically, my question is how, if your in my current situation, dealing with unemployment? What job sites are you currently using? Have you gotten any interviews from these sites? Also, if a temp agency was used in the past, which one did you find some success with?

Thank you to all who repsond. We'll all get a job soon!!!

I have my own business and have applied for a line of credit from the bank. They have asked for a financial statement, but I'm not sure what that includes or how to generate one from Quickbooks 2002.

There's no prospect of interest rate increases in the forseeable future, so why are bond prices dropping? Does this have anything to do with investor's confidence about stocks and the economy in general? I'm puzzled. I thought bond prices were inversely related to interest rates.

I'm looking into a career at Target. However, before I do, I was hoping for some info on the sort of wages I can expect to make. I understand talking about salary is taboo, so I'm only looking for a generally close range if you aren't comfortable telling me specifics. I'm interested in learning what Team Leaders and Executives might make. Thank you for your help with my career!
