we are thinking about selling our house with all the furniture and decor. everything is new and nice. we were thinking maybe a new couple who couldnt afford the new furniture could just roll it into the loan. my question is would anybody buy a house this way or are we wasting our time?

i would love to find a house like that.....we have our own house and our own furniture but we are just starting out and everything we have was given to us used. It isn't bad but isn't real nice either!!! I wish there were more caring people like you in the world!!! and i also wish you lived near me so i could buy your house!!!!!

Good Luck!!!

I have sold houses this way with success, and I find it very nice to see what it is like furnished and keep it that way if buying. Surely a young couple would be happy to roll it into the loan.

Be prepared to remove the furniture for the buyer. While it sounds great, most people have their own furniture, OR, your tastes don't match theirs.

However, there is always a 1 in 1000 chance.

I've seen houses sell this way. They are usually high end homes completely furnished by a designer.

It will depend on the area of the country and type of neighborhood.

Buyers may want to keep certain things that match their taste. Don't be offended if you are asked to remove stuff.

Which country do u stay? If u stay in Singapore, u can email to me - ammyngui@yahoo.com.sg. I can help u t look for landlord who want to buy second hand furniture. I'm a Real Estate Agent here. Usually, people wouldn't pay for ur durnitures, but they can help u to save the removal fee if u give them free. Unless, ur furnitures are branded.

Most folks want to buy their own furniture. I would give option to buy the furniture to prospective buyers.

It is worth a shot. I live in Florida and have seen it done here before. What have you got to loose?
