Yikes! Don't worry, people that our raging power/control freaks on the outside are soooooo insecure on the inside, that's why they basically DEMAND obedience from their employees. I agree with beantown1...Pray for sure and I would also add just keep on doing great work since you love the company. Maybe she'll be transferred.

Do your work, don't talk much unless you have to and keep a file ( notebook with your dail activities and what she does). Always be polite, and calm so when she goes on a tirade everyone will think she is nuts and think you are just the sweetest person alive.

Do your job as efficiently as you can, but stay out of her way. There's nothing to be gained by confronting her. I am not saying run in fear, just be cautious. Don't gossip, what you say today will bite you in the butt tomorrow. Maybe you could tranfer to a different department.
