I was applying at Best buy, but failed their 1/2 hr long test. Then as I was browsing I realized that no one could help me, or even understood what I was looking for.

What is more important, polite but ignorant, or more blunt, but very knowlegdable.

I will be taking a test in a few weeks to gain state certification for a job. I am not good at taking standardized testing so I have a question. What do you do when you are taking a standardized test and you come across a word that you do not know the meaning of. How do you figure out what the word means?

I had my blackberry in my pocket. I was sitting in my apartment with my gf & we were in the process of "getting down". I went to make a call about 1030PM & I noticed my bosses name in the call history. I checked the duration. It was 4 min. long. I either left him a vm with whatever I was saying or he picked up & heard everything. Right after this, I freaked & sent him an email apoligizing for the accidental call. How do you think he will react? what should I do?

When me and my friend were 19 we worked at a hamburger place. One day our boss, the manager of the place, was in a bad mood because his boss told him off, and he fired us for NO reason. We are now 24, and both of us finished college a while ago. My friend got a job supervising all restaurants of a pizza place franchise. He was so surprised when he found out at one restaurant the manager was our old boss, but now, my friend is his boss. And we both hate him a lot 'coz we got fired for no reason, and we both remember what a hard time we had with money that time before he got another job. We needed a job to pay for college back then.

My friend can fire him, should he???

The "wealthy" I am using in this question is finanically wealthy.
I define wealthy as 500k in liquid assets/cash.

i will deliver food to peoples homes within my town. i am trying to figure out what that type of service is worth to people. so if you were at home in your pajamas and had a busting headache, how much would you pay to have advil delivered to you? or how much would you pay to have a roll of toilet paper, a small grocery list, milk for a recipe, diapers, burgers from a local restaurant, etc...?
