What is the average rate for pulling flatbes as an Owner Operator?

My dad drives truck for himself and he wants to know what is the average pay for pulling flatbeds in South Carolina

Approximately $1.25/mile plus fuel surcharge plus tarp pay, if applicable. There are many variables

I get $1.85/mile to SC and back to Pittsburgh Pa hauling lumber and that's not fuel surcharge,also what is your dad hauling,steel,lumber glass pipe? that has alot to do with it,

anything less than .32 cents per mile is not worth it!
