I'm talking about in a year or 2... (im 15)... it is will be my name on my back or something... Ike is my name... that way it will be with me forever... because it is my name... i won't ever get rid of my name...

i have heard of people having the area being tattooed numbed, when you have the area numbed before you have a tattoo does it actually work? i know when i had my belly numbed for my piercing it didn't numb,i could still feel it, so does the tattoo numbing work?

i already have one tattoo that is personal and symbolizes my life, and i really want to get another one. im a huge fan of Stephenie Meyers books and one of my favorite ones is New Moon, and on its cover it contains this beautiful flower which ive been told is a tulip. people tend to get stars in their pelvic bone, but my life relates a lot to this book so i really want to get that particular flower tattooed in each side of my pelvic bones. what do you think?

I am getting a tattoo of two tigers around my ankles.

But I am smart enough not to go onto that part of answers to go on about how I hate cars and all that.

Why do you feel the need to insult people by saying tattoos are trashy/ disgusting etc. Yes, that is your opinion. Like mine is about cars. Yet I don't need to go on and on about it.

I live in Mississippi and was just wondering how old do I have to be to get a tattoo. I hear that it's different in different states, that's why I'm telling you where I live. I'm seventeen right now. My mom says you have to be eighteen but my cousin says that you can be sixteen but you have to have your parent(s) say that it's okay.

Just answer that question, no need to say that you think i'm too young or that I need to think it over or whatever.

I would be worried about:

1. My HEALTH
2. My sexual functionalities because you sure are not going to be getting as much action when you're 80+ yrs old

I hate how people think their saggy skin is going to be attractive to anyone when they're 80 regardless if you have a tattoo or not. You're going to get looked at like you're senile regardless and when i look at old people with tats i think that person must of had an interesting life. Because when you are brave enough to get one doesn't it represent something!?!?

i'm getting another tattoo and i'm looking for a two word quote because i'm putting it on the back of my right and left ankle. i'm looking for something original. and i was also thinking about maybe getting it in Italian. an example would be, "Avere Fede" which means "have faith" but i'm not quite sure i want to get that.

I have 5 tattoo's and 2 large ones on my forearms. I know that staying out of the sun will help keep them looking good, but I had someone tell me that even if you go out in the sun as long as you put regular lotion on after being out in the sun you won't lose color. I tend to forget sunscreen (bad bad bad.) Does anyone know if the regular lotion trick is true?
