Anything that MEANS something. I hate seeing a guy with tattoo's and upon asking what it's for they give a blank stare and go "Oh, well... you know, I kinda liked it so I got it." That's clearly just a sign of being a follower. Choose something with meaning to you and you should be juuuust fine.

Seriously - if you don't know what you want for you tattoo don't get one. You have to live with it for the rest of your life so choosing something on a whim, or based on some ideas from strangers on the net is a bad idea. If you must get one though - please don't for God's sake "go tribal" unless you can go back to 2002 before it was played out! also any kind of lettering - kanji, Chinese etc - all been done to death - avoid like the plague! Also don't get anything just off the wall in the place. You should think of something important to you and try to get a tattoo based on that, get an original design done for you - it'll cost more but be well worth it fro something that is just yours and not on 100's of other people as well. Or better still, if you have the skill, create your own design.

Put some thought into it and get something meaningful so when someone ask you why you got that particular tattoo it's better to give a thoughtful answer rather than just because you liked it. Also if you're getting this to attract women it might not be a good idea. Because your charm or personality or looks should do that....Don't people generally get tattoos for themselves...?

It depends on the woman-I know women who hate tattoos on guys or anyone, prefer them not visable, & then there's women who love them, like animals, roses, cartoons, some wild pieces, etc. that are done by the pro's. (I'm guessing most women don't like guys that are covered/full sleeved/etc.) (anyways, never tattoo a "lovers" name on you, many have, later regreted it-broke up or got a divorce but your moms name is a good choice.-anyways, think about what you want for life.

I think that anything that means something to you is great. Why have a bunch of crap that means nothing but looks pretty?? It is art in the truest sense so think of your body as the Sistine Chapel or what-have-you. Treat tattoos for what they are..the purist form of expressive art!!!

my husband got one on his shouder of a tribal like dragon. Shoulders are a good spot cuz you can show it off or cover it up when you need to. Looks even better if youve got some muscle.

I don't like looking at too many of them, especially when they cover your entire back and arms.
I love the beauty of natural skin, but some people just see that as a canvas .
