If you have had a tattoo removed, please tell me:

What method was used?

Give me as much detail as you feel comfortable sharing - was the procedure painful? Was the healing process uncomfortable?

Are you happy with the results? Would you make the same decision if you had to do it over again?

I'm not scared, just concerned about whether or not the pain/length of time it takes to complete will be worth it. Obviously, I need to speak with a physician, but I believe that the guy who did my original artwork was very heavy-handed and as a result, I think that what I have is already 'scarred', so I'm not sure that the removal will be any improvememt.

Lazer. It hurts 5 times more then getting a tattoo. It's a long drawn out process that you have to do over and over again.

I've heard it's much more difficult to remove a tattoo than to have one put on. That's why people should think long and hard about getting one before they do it.
