i really want to get a tattoo of a flower but what would god say. feel free to speak your mind.

If the fact that you're gay wont keep you from getting into heaven I don't think you have to worry about a tattoo.

The "christian" argument against tatoos is that your body is a temple (and I think there is some verse about tatoos too). The thing is, my church doesn't believe in wearing jewelry either bc of a verse talking about adorning yourself and braiding your hair or something like that. I believe God will still love you and you will still get into heaven whether or not you wear jewelry, get a tatoo or get piercings. The only reason people said not to get tatoos or wear jewelry in the Bible was bc it was often a way of carrying/showing allegiance to idols. That is one of those biblical things that is time and place sensitive. As long as you are not getting a satanic tatoo or seriously disrespecting your body, I don't think God has a problem with it. After all by getting a tat of a flower it is showing appreciation for something beautiful he created! Praise God that he looks at our hearts and not at our appearance. Hope this makes you feel better. It's truly what I think.

The only way to get into heaven is to accept God into your heart as your savior. You don't need to do hell marys, confessions to a priest, get baptized, or work your way into heaven by good deeds. If you have accepted Christ as your savior and have asked him into your heart and life, then you are going to heaven, regardless if you have piercings, tattoos, you're gay, lesbian, or whatever. Tattoos are looked down upon and disrespected by society, people, not God. It's true, he did create you perfect in his eyes, just the way you are, but he will also still love you and call you his child no matter what.

It's such an opinionated concept! Some people say you would definitely not. Others say you will if you live a good life. How about this. What does your heart tell you? Obviously you believe in God. If you listen closely to your own heart, He'll tell you. You don't need the opinions of a bunch of strangers online.........

It does state in the old testament not to tattoo or pierce the skin. but in the new testament their is no mention of this.I asked my preacher this same question tattoos and piercings. even he said they are OK. Now if your gay that's your real problem. the bible states that no man shall lay with another man.

remember, no one sin is greater than the other. i have piercings and tattoos. i am a christian and have God in my heart. as long as God knows u love him and u worship him and live by his commands i dont think it matters. the bible does state that ur body is ur temple and to not deface/mark it but then wouldn't gettin surgery and cuts make u go to hell also?.......see my point? and if ur not supposed to do anything to ur body, why are females (especially the christian ones) wearing earrings?.....just my thoughts. it specifically states in the bible about tattoos and piercings but i dont remember where. i had my pastor show me before i decided to do what i wanted to do. but our God is a loving and forgiving God. as long as he is in ur heart that is all that matters!

The tattoo would stay with your body on earth. When your soul gets to heaven, you should be fine.

no offence but this has to be the absolute most stupid thing i have ever heard in my life. god wouldn't say anything because he does not exist, and even if he did, i dont think he would send you to the absolute worst thing imaginable for eternity for getting a tattoo of a flower

Alot of pple would not be goin to heaven if that were true, including myself, so no i do not believe that. But make sure you really want if though b4 you get it, just remember its gonna be with you for the rest of your life. But if you do decide to get one, im sure it will not be your last, they are addicting.
