I've always disliked. Then I met the girl I'm currently dating and have had to rethink the position.
I guess my original objection was that it shows a lack of foresight (i.e. thinking about they're going to look like when you get old). The current girl made me think that perhaps they are just a way to always carry around something that's important to you.
In the end though, who cares about a girl's tattoos or clothes or whatever? If you like the girl, that's way more important than looks/accessories/etc.

There are a few distinct types of tattoos: trendy "sexy" ones (eg butterfly on lower back), "meaningful" symbols (eg, Chinese symbol that you think means "freedom" or something but who knows because you aren't Chinese), and tattoos that are actually interesting and look original/artistic. Artsy tattoos are cool, but that is a VERY small portion of all tattoos... The other ones just mean you're a preppy follower and have no artistic or intellectual instincts to think of something original. But you sure want male attention, wish you were more hardcore, and love antagonising older family members with your badass rebellion. Most guys don't seem to mind that, of course... Oh, and then there are the tattoos that are plastered all over girls that ARE actually hardcore, which is definitely a thing associated with being of a lower class and having no hope whatsoever of getting a high-paying job in your lifetime (selling body for crack doesn't count). In this case it isn't really the *tattoos* that are the turn-off...
So, in conclusion, tattoos are only cool on artistic girls.

I love tattoos on a woman.
My woman loves getting tattoos.
Rayne's got her name tattoed on her left wrist. She says it's so she can remember her name for the police if she ever gets drunk and sleeps in the street, or (god forbid) gets attacked and concussed.
She got my name done in a heart on her left breast before we got together. It's because she was blind drunk and wanted ink, and I just happened to be there. Or it might have been a sign of things to come...
She's also got one just below her knickerline that reads:
If you can read this, fasten your f***ing seatbelt. It's gonna get pretty bumpy.
And across her shoulders, down her arms to her elbows, she's got angel wings. It looks pretty cool when she holds her arms out.
As for me, I'm uninked. An empty canvas.
regards
Felix B

"low self-worth I can also be egocentric and lazy every now and then. I have perverted brain, and prefer perverted jokes, even though I do not act at the pervertedness." those don't seem to be profitable endorsements..

I luv to see women with tattoos. I think they make a woman more beautiful and sexy. As a matter of fact, given two woman to whom I am equally interested in; one with no tattoos and one with several, I will certainly ask out the one with the tattoos.

saw a girl at the beach last summer who had a tatoo of two male arms coming out of her bikini bottom and grabbing her b00bs. That was daring--bit a bit gross.

Get a tattoo because YOU want to. Don't worry about what other people think of them.

I'm not a guy- but this one needs addressing from a mother! Tattos are totally for the lower class individual- so it depends on your status and the people you associate with. Always ask yourself- would Princess Di have one?
